Can anyone recommend a good eyelash curler for Asian that can get the job done and w/o pinch!? Just the traditional ones, i am too chicken to try those heated ones.....:shame:

I think the eyelash curler designes here aren't too Asian friendly:sad: They are a bit too curved for my flat eye shape. I don't rely on Starbucks to wake me up in the morning because all the pinches i got from eye lash curler does the trick already!:crybaby: It's really urgent for me to find a good one beucase i notice my eye lashes fall off way too fast than befor i use eyelash curler.

Shu Urma don't work well with me either.....i tried all the drugstore, and department ones....was it because i didn't use it properly?

Also, any recommendations for mascara remover? Many Thanks!:flowers:

Thanks baobei! Do you have any recommendation for mascara remover? I have seen something that's like a clear gel mascara, you swipe it just like masacara, and it should 'dissolve' the black mascara so one can lean it off by swiping. Not sure if there's anything like that here in States?

hmm not really sure about a clear gel mascara that dissolves black mascara, but i think any eye-makeup remover should do the job ... lol then again you can always use baby oil, it works just the same and its cheaper.

i use the shu eumera(sp?) and i love it and im asian. it gives an awesome curl but then when i apply mascara my curl kinda droops and disappears do u have that problem classic chic? i also want to try mally eyelash curler sold on qvc. mally is asian and made an eyelash curler that doesnt pinch. it doesnt have the side bars on it.

yes, becuase our eyelashes are as straight and thick as our hair-which have the hardest time to hold any curl. Believe it or not, i love Neutrogena's Weightless Volume mascara becuase it's formula is very light, don't clump on me, but just have to be patient and repat the coat at the end of tip to length it.

I've read it somewhere on the magazine that if you apply masara on the top layer(the wand will be Above the eyelash) after our normal application, it will 'pop' it up more, however i have yet to success on this technique because i always mess up the eyeshadow since we have puny eye lashes...
Another trick is D'feel mascara, it's currently being sold in JP, as well as HOT item in Taiwan, my friends raved about it, but i don't have access to it due to postal service restrict s&h for sparys. ¡¹Hi Japan¶Ù¤éºô¯S§O±q¤é¥»¥*¦æ¿é¤J¤é¥»¸ê¥Í°ó MAJOLICA MAJORCA±m§©¡BLeSportsac*I¥]¡BPRADA¤k¾c¡BMAX&Co.¡BLANVIN¡BBURBERRYµ¥®É©|§«~¡A¨Ã´£¨Ñ¤é¥»¦U¦¡¦U¼Ë§åµo(¤Á³f¡B¹w*q¡B§ä³f..)¤§ªA°È¡C It's in Chinese, but how to pix r at the bottom of page.

Not sure about Mally's eyelash curler, but it was on recent magazine's must haves. I am currently using her CityChic Smokey eye kit in Plum, it's amazing for the price, and is just the right purple for my eye color (black in door, brown w/strong light), but i return the shay shimmer&glow because it's don't doing anything on my face.

i actually just order blinc kiss me mascara after reading about it on here. they said it forms little tubes on your eyelashes?? i have tried so many mascaras... now i just curl my eyelashes and dont even bother with mascara anymore because of the drooping.. lol

tubes? as in tiny bubble/fake tear drop on your lashes? i've seen people use it in Asia, but they normally pair it with false lashes. Where did u read about it? on this site or from the linked-website on my post?

^ i can't find the website right now but basically what is does is literally form a TUBE around each lash and then at the end of the night, when it wash it just slides off but by tubing your lashes apparently it can extend longer, if that makes sense.

shu umera is an excellent eyelash curler not sure if its good for Asians but give it a try. My lashes are long so I just curl and then coat with DIORSHOW mascara to give them that "umph":p

i'm asian and I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING.

the best two i have tried so far are;

1. mac eyelash curler...better than shu for me.
2. BLINC mascara...all the way. HANDS DOWN. AND I'VE TRIED THEM ALL!
