How to change your bag day to day?

I only change my bags a couple of times a month unless I’m going somewhere in which I want to use something really small or a clutch. I have a small wallet, ipsy make-up bag filled with odds and ends, Dre Beats case for my wireless earbuds, a coin pouch (Rebecca Minkoff), my keys on a Marc Jacobs key case (kind of like an LV cles), and iPhone X. It literally takes less than a minute. It takes longer for me to pack up my previous bag as I re-stuff it before putting it away.

It also helps that I clean out my bag every single day. I’m a big anal about my bag being clean mostly because my bags are too small to carry around a bunch of extra stuff.

After I finish using a bag for the day I take everything out and stuff it with acid free paper and place it into its dust bag. Therefore I keep all my slgs outside my bag and simply plop them into whichever bag I decide to wear in the morning.

I tend to use a wallet for most of my cards, cash, bills and coins and a Cartier card holder for debit and credit cards. I have a Chanel key holder so I keep my keys inside and my transit pass in the Mona Lisa pocket. On rainy days I use my pocket Burberry umbrella, which is fairly lightweight and takes up little space. I also use a small drawstring pouch that has a waterproof lining to store travel size perfume and hand creams.
I do this too, remove my things from my bag/bags of the day and put them in a drawer in their own designated place  I learnt this from the Konmari method and it works really well for me. Makes me feel organised :amuse:

I tend to use just one wallet and one make up clutch at a time for longer time periods. I can not be bothered to change these out every day.

Usual SLGs and pouches. I have bags of all sizes, sorts and and shapes, organisers wouldn't work for me.

In some larger bags there're larger pouches/wash-bags that actually live in designated bags, these act more like a liner.

Thank you! This was very helpful. I don’t know if I could ever be that organized but I love the idea!!!!!!

I had a phase where it was "big bags, small wallets" all the time. I have a bunch of card cases and mini wallets that I used for every occasion and bag. Now, the table has turned and I tend to use large/continental wallets and small/medium sized bags. Today I'm taking part in a company event and have to travel for it, there's also a party later in the evening so I went for my LV Empreinte Cles.It fits in my evening bag and holds alot.
You need to consider your needs and wants - how many cards do you carry, do you carry cash, coupons, other documents and such? What material is suited for your lifestyle and what pleases your eye; a slimmer design, french, continental..?

One of my all time favorites is a pink Longchamp Le Foulonne coin pouch, which is actually a mini wallet. The price is under 100 €, there are alot of color choices and the quality is great.

Thank you so much for the suggestion!

Thanks for all your practical hints and tips. Keys are a bug a boo for me. I tend to use the same bag for one week. So each weekend I plan which scarves and capsule wardrobe items match. I use @maitaicollection purse organizers which makes it a bit easier. I leave the organizer inside each purse to help support the shape. I use Calvis for my plastic, business cards, the odd dead president. I really don’t like rummaging in my purse when I need something. Definitely gonna check out that Chanel key holder. I have a small collection of H Carmens but they don’t wear too well. I only use them decoratively, not for keys. This has been a very nice thread. Thanks !!
