Hi everyone! I am just starting to invest in some luxury bags. My first was the LV Speedyb 25. I am really curious as to how those who change their bags out regularly handle the wallet/cardholder situation. How do you easily switch from bag to bag?

Pouches. I have a pouch for meds, bandaids, hand sanitizer etc. and another one for makeup, perfume, hair ties, earbuds, comb etc. I keep my keys, wallet and sunnies separate. Takes me 10 seconds to switch bags.
If I'm taking a tiny crossbody it takes me a minute to switch in/out of because I'll put my cards/cash into a mini wallet, take a separate key and just the makeup/other things I'll absolutely need while I'm out.

With an organizer it's really easy to switch from bag to bag just as long your bags are about the same size.

What size wallet/what wallet do you use on a regular basis? I am thinking to start investing in some slg and just trying to pick the ones that will work best for me!

Pouch - everything small and loose goes in here; lipstick, sm. hairbrush, Advil, pen, supermarket store cards on a ring, etc.

Wallet, sunnies in a case, and phone.

4 things to easily switch out, although I’ve just started using an LV zip card case as well, with DL, 1 or 2 credit cards and a few bills. Sometimes I just grab that, leave my bag in the car or home for quick trips. So, that’s 5 things to switch.

Thank you! What wallet is your favorite?

PS1 wallet, my favorite ever. Thin leather, not bulky, minimal hardware, cards go in and out easily, holds a ton and is lighter in weight stuffed, than other wallets empty. I’m looking for a backup now, whike they are still available.

My other items are an LV Toiletry 19 (was using a 15 which holds what I need, but the 19 fits my bags and has extra room in case I add things during a day, like receipts. I like the flatter shape better than the shorter, wider shape of most cosmetic pouches.) An LV sunnies case (I like a soft case,) an iPhone Plus, and the aforementioned LV zipped card case.

Just for fit reference, the bags I use most are PS1’s or Bal small City’s.

After I finish using a bag for the day I take everything out and stuff it with acid free paper and place it into its dust bag. Therefore I keep all my slgs outside my bag and simply plop them into whichever bag I decide to wear in the morning.

I tend to use a wallet for most of my cards, cash, bills and coins and a Cartier card holder for debit and credit cards. I have a Chanel key holder so I keep my keys inside and my transit pass in the Mona Lisa pocket. On rainy days I use my pocket Burberry umbrella, which is fairly lightweight and takes up little space. I also use a small drawstring pouch that has a waterproof lining to store travel size perfume and hand creams.

Most of the bags I carry are similar sizes, and I usually go several days (or weeks) on one bag, so I'm not switching out terribly often. Right now I'm carrying Neverfull MM with an organizer, but I just purchased the South Bank Besace which is a little smaller.

I use a Clemence wallet, 6-key holder for all of my car keys, 2 cosmetic pouches (toiletry 15 for actual cosmetics, Neverfull pouch for pharmaceutical items, feminine products, hand sanitizer), and 2 glasses cases - eyeglasses & sunglasses. I also own multiple brands so sometimes I like to switch out my wallet and small goods depending on what bag I'm going to carry. Even if I'm switching everything out, it takes maybe 15-20 minutes tops.

I know some people just take everything out of the bag at the end of the day, and put everything in a tray. I don't switch bags on a regular basis but it won't be too much trouble since I am pretty much a minimalist. I carry a lanyard id holder, a business card holder as wallet, a 6 key holder, a slim pencil case as my cosmetic case, and sunglasses.

The only issue would be when I switch to a woc or prepare for traveling, then I have to rearrange my SLGs.

Not a bad idea actually. I made a promise to myself I would try to use everyone of my bags and wallets this year. Often times I don’t because I am lazy and the only time I switch is because of weather. If I force myself to just empty it all out on a tray at night that might work.

I had a phase where it was "big bags, small wallets" all the time. I have a bunch of card cases and mini wallets that I used for every occasion and bag. Now, the table has turned and I tend to use large/continental wallets and small/medium sized bags. Today I'm taking part in a company event and have to travel for it, there's also a party later in the evening so I went for my LV Empreinte Cles.It fits in my evening bag and holds alot.
You need to consider your needs and wants - how many cards do you carry, do you carry cash, coupons, other documents and such? What material is suited for your lifestyle and what pleases your eye; a slimmer design, french, continental..?

One of my all time favorites is a pink Longchamp Le Foulonne coin pouch, which is actually a mini wallet. The price is under 100 €, there are alot of color choices and the quality is great.

I have a big Hobo wallet, almost all my small loose things are in there. So all I have to transfer is my wallet, phone, lipstick, mirror, pen, sunglasses. Makes it really fast and easy! I won't buy a purse if my wallet won't fit, but it fits in most as long as they aren't the "mini" size.
