20 and I believe 16 when I got it on my birthday.

2)And what was it?
A Coach pochette bag.

3)How many purses do you have in your collection?
5. Burberry, Coach, Dior, Fendi, LV.

4)How many accessories (wallets..etc)?
Fendi sunglasses. I want a Chanel wallet, Dior gaucho wallet or YSL wallet. Also a YSL hand held mirror.

5)What bag are you dying to get next?
I have more than one. Chloe black paraty bag, this Burberry drawstring shoulder bag, LV monogram or damier canvas speedy 30, LV monogram canvas Montorgueil GM, LV damier canvas Ribera MM, Fendi black twin tote, Fendi Dr. B black leather hobo, Chanel black caviar jumbo flap with gold hardware.

Does jewelry count as accessories?? if so, 7. Coach wristlet, Coach Card/coin case, Dior bracelet, Fendi watch, Gucci watch, Juicy Couture sunglasses, Gucci sunglasses

Yikes, where to begin...Dior double gaucho in white, Gucci Indy black with silver hardware, Dior Jazzclub in black with gold hardware......etc etc etc....

More than 15 designer purses. Majority LV.

More than 5, less than 10.

A chanel shopping tote GST, or a classic flap.

I am in my very early twenties. I got my first designer bag when I was twelve years old.
2.) And what was it?
i know it was Chanel. I think some sort of pink Chanel? Before that, I had a Dooney & Burke bag but I consider the Chanel my first designer bag....it's when i actually started getting interested in clothes and stuff.

3.) How many purses do you have in your collection? two cute Chanel bags (in the process of accumulating another one), and two Louis Vuitton bags.

4.) How many accessories (wallets...etc?) i have lots of cheapo accessories that i actually really love, but none are designer. I can't count how many I have, but there's a lot. :D

5.) What bag are you dying to get next? Some sort of black, leather Chanel bag that goes with everything. The ones that I have currently are pink and while I love pink, I'm really craving a patent black sort of Chanel, like so it goes with everything.

1) I'm 17, going on 18 July 6th! I got my first designer bag when i was 12 in the 7th grade.

2) It was the Louis Vuitton Multicolore Mini HL in white

3) I currently have 16 designer bags. That includes 6 Louis Vuitton, 1 Marc by Marc Jacobs, 1 Gucci, 4 Coach(NEVER use them), 3 Juicy Couture, and 1 Fendi.

4) I have 8 accessories, which include 2 louis vuitton wallets, 1 coach makeup case, 1 louis vuitton charm, D&G sunglasses. 2 pairs of Tiffany&Co earrings, and 1 Tiffany & Co necklace. And i don't know if shoes count as accessories, but i have Burberry rainboots, two pairs of stuart weitzman shoes, 2 pairs of coach sneakers(but i never wear sneakers), 1 pair of italian leather Miss Sixty boots, 5 pairs of juicy couture flats, and i think that's about it. lol. =]

5) My next bag will most likely be the Louis Vuitton Denim Slightly in black. I will probably get it next week!

1) 16. I am now 42.
2) Gucci. I paid for it myself from saving up from my minumum paying job, Which was $3.35 an hour. (yeah, I know that I'm old, but it just means that I have a realy good collection) It was probably one of the smallest pruses they carried, I think a camera style.
3) I've lost count. There all in 3 different closets, so I forget what I have. Bit when I run across one I forgot about, it's like getting a new bag.
4) Maybe 20, give or take.
5) I have my eyes on a a Micheal Kors that I feel in love with at Nordstrom. I'm hoping it will get marked down late summer, otherwise a Burberry. I can only wish for a Chanel. But you never know........

1) 35 now. I was mid-20's when I got my first designer bag.
2) Isabella Fiore, then Marc Jacobs
3) I rotate about 1-2 high end designer bags and 3-4 mid-range designer bags at any one time, plus a bunch of colorful printed fabric totes, which is a little side habit in my handbag collection.
4) Probably around 8 or so. Current fave is Vera Bradley clutch wallet. It's the holy grail wallet I've been looking for forever. Who knew after spending tons of money over the years, a $42 wallet would make me happy?
5) Long list: LV Speedy 35 (vintage), Belen Echandia Love Me in black, gray or purple, Gerard Darel 24H St Germain, Tano So Chummy in Smog, Coach Parker Large Hippie in Black (coming in July!!), Longchamp Roseau Shopper Tote, Botkier Trigger, Botkier James in purple, Botkier Logan Shopper (Fall '09 collection), Balenciaga Giant City...and, and...you get the picture :nuts:.

I got my first really substantial designer bag at 24, a few days before my 25th birthday. It was a birthday gift to myself.

I bought it at Louis Vuitton in Paris. I paid for it myself as I was out of grad school and into my profession by then. I would have never expected parents to pay for such. After all they paid for my entire university education, over a 6-year period, which was money very well spent.

I'm now early 50s and sold that first LV bag, about 6 years ago, to a work colleague and got more for it than I had originally paid. LV does hold up a very long time. I have bought it regularly since that first bag in 1980. And I've had no problems selling all of the ones that I had eventually become tired of.
