How often do you clean out your wallet?

Almost never- I got a new wallet about a week ago so I cleaned things up then but I can't even remember how long it had been before that

My bags always has a matching wallet and when I do change handbags usually that includes the wallet every week

Only when the coin pocket comes loose, opens, and then spills my change all over the floor -- and of course this happens when I am in the grocery store with 109 people watching. The nice ones help me pick up the coins. The others just watch as if I am a great source of entertainment while they wait in line to check out. One time I saw a woman gather a lot of my coins and drop them in her purse! I was going to call her a thief, but it just wasn't worth my time or emotions.

This week's theme is organize, refresh and renew. I decided to catalog and clear out my wallet. Something i rarely do. I purged the membership cards for places i do not go or have gone bankrupt. I removed cards for membership programs that are accessible via a number or email address i remember. I removed business cards i forgot about. And now my continental wallet is half the size.

I am sure this is the first purge since i purchased the wallet nearly 2 years ago.

So how often do you clean out yours?

I daily remove whats unneeded. I'm especially weird about taking cards I don't need on trips. I also don't like overstuffing my wallet.

I remove receipts daily. I also remove unneeded cards before a trip.
