I LOVE your collection. You've covered all bases with these 3 vastly different styles!:heart::heart:

PS: how do you like your clutch?

Thank you for the kind words. I love the clutch. (I was late coming to the Barolo color as I didn’t realize just how neutral a color it is.) The clutch Is big enough to carry whatever I need but still a smaller, manageable bag to hand carry. All my Barolo pieces are nice and soft from being carried (and loved). I’d love to add the clutch in Nero, if it were available, but I really can’t justify adding another bag at this time.

For many years I avoided red bags, and now I want to try my luck with this Barolo and see if it works for me. The bag is amazing, and cervo is my favorite type of leather, so... Just joined the Barolo Cervo Loop sisterhood!
Great choice! you will have lots of use of it, it's such a workhorse!!

How would you describe this Barolo color. Because all the photos I've seen look different under different lighting conditions. I know it's not a bright red, but it doesn't appear to be a burgundy to me either.

Is it a brownish red, with orange or purple? Does this color look too heavy in the summer? Description much appreciated because I'm looking at the new Lauren clutch but am ambiguous about this color.

Barolo is hard to capture, and basis light camera can change it completely, this is mine, and it's true to life, but in order to get one descent shot i usually take tons of odd ones

P.S. as per my experience in capturing Barolo, i can guess that @sonyamorris was taken in yellow/warm electric light, and in cold/fluorecent light it tends to come more dark brownish.
But irl it's rich wine bordeaux

Yes, it’s quite strange. The perception of this color depends COMPLETELY to the light.
When I find it on the reseller site, the color on the pictures was like reddish terra-cotta, see the picture (and I didn’t identify it as Barolo). But when it arrived I saw it more dark and deep.
I could define it like a brownish red with sunlight, deep warm red with normal daylight and cold little purplish red in the shadow. So all the pictures in this thread are representative.
I don’t see only orange undertone!
For the pictures that I saw of Lauren Clutch I think that its color could be more cold in nappa then the cervo (sometimes there is some color difference between the types of leather).
I think someone who have both bags (like Diane278) could respond you better!

The Lauren Clutch is not Barolo - it's Gigolo Red.
@diane278's reveal thread has accurate photos of the colour in intrecciato Nappa. Cervo leather in the same colour should never be used as a guide for intrecciato leather, IMO. :flowers:
