(can you see a pattern, i know, i'm a little obsessed... i find something i like and get everything in every color...)

Wow! Right after I joined tpf, I purchased a few VERY expensive bags but sold a few and since then, calmed down. I've read somewhere here that it's the norm after joining?

*AS YOU CAN TELL I get everything at bargain price, I love knowing I paid the least amount out of everyone, but it's the same quality! When I resell I usually get 80% or more of my $ back!
but I am in the process of getting rid of a lot of my bags. I realize I have an overload right now, but it seems like I have some type of use for all of them.
I have also bought my mother a Louis Vuitton Batignolles Horizontal for $530.

In the last year (since last November) I've only bought three bags (one Chloe Elvire Clutch from NAP and two older Chloe bags from eBay) and I only kept one of them (a S/S '04 Chloe Banana Mesh Clutch), as I didn't like the Elvire enough and one of the eBay finds was horrifically SNAD.
Not really that inspired at the moment - the price of new bags feels way too high for the quality on offer and/or the economic situation, most of the new designs are pretty uninspiring and there haven't been many decent older bags around, lately, for some reason.
But, I did buy quite a lot of clothes, other accessories and (especially) jewellery; mostly from eBay (I've been on a real older/vintage item trawl!).
