Since the year 2008 was over, have you ever wondered how many bags you bought last year alone??

Time to count... How many bags last year alone? Also, what you do for a living would be great.

I am a MOM so I could not justify buying too many per year. :(

One!! I am so proud!!! And I got it on Dec 26th so it was almost into this year. The last bag before that I got December 2007.
In 2007 I got 5 all within about 3 months :shame: So I did pretty good going a whole year without buying one. This year I plan to buy one for my birthday in May and thats all thats in my plans so far.
I am a Mum too but its the only thing I really get for myself.

I think only 3, and only 2 were designer! Thats much better than I did in 2006, haha! Right now, I am still a student and I work 3 part time jobs (2 manager positions and a teaching assistant).

I have already gone over 3 for 2009 and it's only January :blushing:..BUT I'm determined to try and save money for the rest of the year so that DB and I can purchase some new furniture and a desktop computer.

I bought 5, but I was seriously under-stocked. 3 high-end (Tod's and Prada), 1 red Furla and 1 purple Gerard Darel.

I have a well paid job and could buy even more, but don't want to clutter my closet with too many purchases which I might regret (I don't trade on e-Bay).

I bought 3 myself (Mulberry Ledbury, Prada Ombre Glace Zippers and MbyMJ Posh Punk convertible clutch) and recieved 2 as presents (Mulberry Bayswater as a birthday present and Mulberry Antony for Christmas). So my collection grew by 5 bags, making 10 in total. 2008 has been a good bag year for me :yes:

This year, I will only buy 1. I have my my clothing and accessory list, and I really don't know what the bag will be, but budgeted for 1 high end bag and it has to be one I can use for work/orchestra. And I am an consultant in an accounting and financial services firm. While our office is doing well, I think it's a year to reflect on back to basics and less is more. I have a list of jewerly pieces that I would like to obtain, and just bought a few things at the Macy's sales, 14k White Gold Hoops, 14k Gold Pearl Hoops, and a strand of fresh water black, blue, grey and greenish pearls ... all for less the cost of one coach bag, I might add. And really nice quality items. It's weird, the purses I want aren't going on sale anytime soon, but other stuff - jewelry, home furnishings are. So I will save my monies and value shop for those items I have predetermined to buy if the economy holds out in my neck of the woods.

Just purchased two bags last year which were Louis Vuitton Damier ebony speedy 30 and Miu Miu Nappa charm bag in antico. So i didnt really go overboard in terms of spending and being a student. Hopefully this year or towards to ending of the year i would like to get another bag particularly miu miu plus another wallet so i can give my Louis Vuitton zippy coin purse a rest.
