Actually, you can use the cleaner AND moisturizer on the new carly leather bags on the base of the bag but not the trim. Have you seen the new video yet ms. whitney? I'm sooooo glad they're finally making bags that c+m can be used on.

You can also use it on the new hamptons leather stripe bags!

i haven't but have you read the product knowledge cards? on the back it states how you can care for it and you can't use it, or it's not recommended. it's surprising for the hampton's collection because i didn't think it was retroglove but what do you know...

as for the carlys...does the video say you can use it on the bags? hmm...i guess i'll find out tmr when i work. i was going by the TOT b/c there's no product cards for those yet. that i'll retract ;)

^^^^ I was told not to use the c/m on my Carly. Mine is a pilot bag, would that have different leather?

nope, i have a pilot bag in my store and it is the same. just an extra P.

i'm confused as well but i don't think sprinkles is making up that video. so i'll definitely check it out.

the bag is made of oiled vachetta...which is why i assumed that you can't. but maybe the oil part may make a difference.

I got black leather. It is stunning. I do have a question though. When I bought it, the SA used the coach leather moisturizer on it. Is this good for the bag? She said it needs to be done monthly. Was she just trying to sell me the moisturizer as well?

Hello.

The Vachetta leather should not be moisturized. If I were you I would take
the bag back and ask for a new one. Please note that Vachetta Leather
is a premiun leather which has a butter soft apearance and ages to a deep patina. It is tanned using vegetable dyes. It is also susceptible to stains and water so you need to be careful with it. It's a good thin you got the black.

Yeah, I'm scared to reccomend it on the camel and doe bags (cleaner) but at the mgmt meeting last week it was a big discussion b/c our upt sucks and on the back of the current assortment page it said it can be on the body on the bag just not the trim (two different leathers).

Get your butt on the video! Our coach girl (the main model) is topless and covered with a perfume bottle!! It's getting scandelous!

Ok, I emailed coach customer service to ask about using moisturizer on the carly. They wrote back and told me not to use it. That is all well and good, but it does tick me off that they didn't even offer a token apology since it was one of their people who sold me the stuff! Anyways, just thought I would give an update.
