I'm waiting for raisin too. But my biggest concern is whether it'll fade... I'm hoping for a 07 Violet but heard it'll fade...
How is RAISIN similar to VIOLET, SAPPHIRE OR EGGPLANT (if at all)...

The variety of Bal colours is just amazing! I was looking of pics of the new raisin colour and I think it looks quite similar to eggplant. Is it just me? What do you think? I'm fairly new to bal colours so please bear with me!

I still found Raisin to be a bit too bright for my wardrobe. I saw it in person and was going to buy the City Raisin RH but changed my mind and settled for the Tempete instead. I think Eggplant is much darker than Raisin. Wish I had the eggplant.
Strangest thing is the Raisin looks darker in pictures but when I went to see IRL, it is actually brighter which made me change my mind. I thought it was going to be dark purple as in Roots purple bags.
Eggplant is darker than Raisin. Raisin is brighter than Violet I think with a red undertone. Both Eggplant and Raisin are my favorite purples. Eggplant has amazing leather and I haven't decided yet about Raisin.

Sorry but the RH City doesn't look like a raisin at all.
^^Really? When I saw this photo, I was pretty excited that raisin was similar in color to violet. But if that picture doesn't show the true raisin color, then I'm not sure what to think. I guess I'll just have to wait until I see raisin in person.
Why does violet fade? I haven't seen any eggplant colors faded and I haven't heard of sapphire fading. I have seen many violets though faded. It must be the dye.
