Post back about what you think of it. I love it because it's not cakey and it does not make me break out. Plus, it's cheaper

I was into Mineral Makeup a couple of years ago and they have a message board dedicated to mineral makeup over at makeuptalk.com. There are so many brands of MM and you can order samples for cheap and from what I understand most brands are better than BE. My favorite turned out to be Meow but everyone's experience is different. I also liked Monave.

That brush is quite hard to clean thoroughly because its sooo densely packed. If you know any good cleanser that works well for this kind of brush, please let me know. I currently use J&J Head to toe baby wash and its not doing a good job removing makeup off my brushes. I have to lather, rinse, and repeat a few times.

^^ Sometimes if I want to really deep clean my makeup brushes, I'll use a little extra virgin olive oil. (I always have a bottle of this stuff under my bathroom sink. I use it for my hair, skin, makeup remover, etc. :laugh:) I just scrub a little bit in the wet bristles, and then rinse with baby shampoo. Works really well for me.

Great idea! I will use my cleansing oil next time on my brushes.

I got my Meow Cosmetics samples today. I ordered 7 samples & got 2 free! They're really nice & quick to ship too... good business.

I should've tried more shades of the foundation because I chose 2 & the darker one I put on my face actually turned out to be lighter on me! So I'm disappointed that I didn't choose more. I dunno how I feel about the undereye concealer.... didn't seem to do that much for me. I would order more samples from Meow, but I can't find coupon codes that don't require a minimum order of like $25+.

I'm going to try EDM samples now.

I finally ended up ordering a sample kit from EDM today. My Meow Cosmetics samples are just sitting on top of my drawer, sadly! I wish I had chosen the right shades.

Oh well, lesson learned. I was sure to choose darker colors this time too, from EDM, despite being a light in BE.

hey girls--hope the samples work out for ya! i took a stab at it and just ordered a big kit without ordering samples before because i was in such a rush to get my new toys :P i researched online as well as emailing help @ EDM. the guy who helped me was great and i have 4 foundations that match me! lol

I received my EDM samples today... I tried one foundation shade & mixed in a bit of a lighter shade together... it matches me quite nicely!! It doesn't make my face itch or anything. But I got the intensive formula & IDK how I feel about the coverage. It is the heaviest, but BE seems to be heavier (good, but it made my face looked like it was caked on). My BM box from Sephora is still sitting here unwrapped... hmm, I don't know if I should just use it or return it yet!! I guess I'll keep using my EDM samples.

I got the everyday mineral samples like a week ago, but none of the shades really match my skin unless I mixed two shades together...but i really like the blush (Apple) though. Maybe after i run out of all my BE stuff I'll order some more samples and try again-
