whoa. I would think that would devalue your car, sure if you love that brand but not everyone does nor cares to have it wallpapered on a vehicle. Is it removable? I get being passionate about things but a car is your second largest purchase? that is taking it to far.. but that is only MO. ;)

Many people get into customizing their cars, and of course, they do what they like. This would have HAD to be an LV fanatic, or why else would they do it, right? Myself, I never liked LV much, so it did nothing for me, other than shock me! lol! I can't belive how far folks will go to 'express' themselves. llol! The car itself is a gorgeous, a 2014 Chrysler with heated leather seats and all the bells and whistles. THe LV ladies all insist it is fake. I am sure they are right. I know nothing about LV.

Oh, I'm glad to know it came that way when she bought it. Hmm. I think if someone really liked the brand, they wouldn't do this. Seems more like somethingl one would do to just try to impress people.

True but usually those involve custom paint, stereo's, rims... engine mods etc lol I know here the insurance blatantly go over anything done to "mod" your car at all, they frown upon.

Sounds like a lovely car, hope she intends to keep it awhile lol :p

I'm not sure if that sort of thing would add value to the car. It's very specific and the next buyer would have to be a LV fan, or they would have to pay to have it changed out. Unless it's removable? Then it would be a bit easier to deal with.

Personally, not to my taste. But then I only carry a brand's bags - not any of the shoes, jewelry or clothing.

I can't talk...my bmw x3 has a hello kitty plate, cd visors, tiny hk face on the back window, floormats, steering wheel cover and air freshner. I have always loved hk so my hubby and kids buy hk items for me like hk jewelry and other hk thingamabobs and whatnots LOL!!. I love my truck (super fun to drive) and I don't care if people think its tacky, all of its removeable if I decide to sell or trade. I would never go as far as "defacing" a car or truck. Let's not forget she didn't do this, someone else did. Its cool if she likes it though. To each its own I say. Lifes about enjoying yourself and your things.

Ah, but there is the catch! i have no idea how removable this wallpaper? like customization is so quite different!:smile1:

+1 I agree. We should be paid for our service of giving designer's free advertisement!

Personally, I would never put a designer's logo on a car or anything like that. Speaking just for myself, I don't care for the logo signature bags. I'm just not a big fan of carrying or wearing someone else's initials. That's one reason I do not own a LV. I love some of the styles but don't want the signature logo. But , each to their own. If she likes it, she should enjoy it. It is her car after all. I just hope she finds another LV lover to sell it to when she decides to sell.

That is the key, to find another LV lover to sell it to, but I posted this in the LV thread and they all hate it too! lol! Poor Dawnelle! She may have trouble selling it, although it is a gorgeous , newer car.All black with chrome mag wheels, heated leather seats with all the bells and whistles. The photo really does look worse , than seeing it live. It took awhile before I noticed it. Just had to share cuz this certainly is a first ! never seen this before! lol! It just shows how really handbag crazed our society has become.

You're right! This would cost a fortune to redo, unless you are a dealership maybe, but even then. It probably cost big bucks to have it done! It just freaked me out and I didn't know what to think. I did like the effect it had on me of knowing there are way worse bag crazed people than me! lol!

This looks tacky! I don't mind wearing the Michael Kors bags with the small name on it, but even the round MK thing puts me off. Just the name on it as for example on the Selma is fine. I compare it to a painting with the artist's name on it, but that.... NEVER!

Yep! It just shows how far some will go! This person has to be completely LV bonkers! lol! Makes me feel more sane about some of my, as my husband calls it, "going overboard" lol!
