I wanted to give it another try but my friend said once it gets a wrinkle or a fold in it you can never get it out. My other friend who is hard on bags seems to keep hers in good shape. What are your thoughts and does a certain style hold up better then others?

I have saffiano e/w hamilton that I've used everyday for months and it still looks new. I'm not exactly sure how I would be able to get a wrinkle in the leather as it is a pretty structured bag. Perhaps that would be more of a concern with the larger n/s models. Love mine because I use it for work and it can take some abuse. The saffiano leather is heavy though. It took my shoulder a while to adjust. :)

Thank for your help. I'm not sure what style yet. I was also looking at the harper totes in leather or canvas. I need something that is not to heavy and is a bit structured. I have the medium gilmore bag in leather in cinnabar, but I don't want to use that one for sporting events where I watch my kids.

the saffino leather holds up pretty well for me just my jet set totes fold in a lil from use (like having it under my arm and etc)

Thank you! I was looking at them on line today. The medium tote weight was a bit heavier then I can carry. I really like the look. I do have a pink wallet in the saffiano but I rarely wear it . It doesn't really go with my other bags color wise ,but it is to pretty to get rid of.

I have a saffiano tote that's held up very well, there's practically no wear on it aside from some scratches on the gold hardware (from normal wear). I love that saffiano is lightweight, can be used in any kind of weather, and doesn't get scratched or show wear easily. I avoid most leather bags because they're too heavy and hurt my shoulder, so I'm glad that saffiano is becoming a more popular option. It's so practical and still looks lux. However, I have seen a few bags on eBay where there were creases, especially on the taller N/S bags like Haruhii mentioned.

To get an idea of what the wear on certain bags is like, a good place to check is eBay. You can do a search for "Michael Kors saffiano" and then on the very left, you can check where it says Condition > Used. You can also scroll down and check Show only > Sold listings to see more used bags that have been sold. I also like to check out how a bag wears before actually purchasing it, and have found eBay very useful. It's saved me from purchasing bags that I wouldn't have gotten much use out of. Hope that helps! :smile1:

That's a great idea! Thank you for the suggestion :D

I think it holds up very well. I take good care of my bags and no problems yet. I had them over 1 yr. Becareful for color transfer on light bags. Also it you dent it I do not think it can be fixed so handle with care. I do not baby my bags and use them everyday no dents have occurred yet.
