For me they were comfortable right from the get go, and I haven't had any trouble with slippage.
I am really right between a 40 and 40.5 and probably could have done either. I went with the 40.5. I could not risk hangover heels. :p

I haven't worn mine on the street yet. Still deciding if I am going to put something on the leather sole....

I do it myself - they just stick on. They aren't pretty ones but I've tried a million kinds and these are the best.

They're actually called ShurGrip.just make sure to stick them on before wearing them outside. They are best on new leather soles.

I was really not wanting to leave my shoes with a shoe repair that I didn't know or trust, so this is perfect:)

To me these qualify as a neutral, so you can wear them with jeans and ANY top that's not crazy bright. They will look amazing with raw hem jeans. Also, anything with a slim black ankle trouser; a white dress; a red dress, or any solid color dress that picks up the various colors in the shoes; and you could try with a denim skirt as well :biggrin: When I wear shoes with a print I usually wear solids elsewhere.
