How do you react when people ask how much your bag cost?

I agree with you, and I think that sometimes women judge us for spending that much money on a bag because they couldn't afford it. So they're jealous!

I have found that I havemostly problems from women too. But many of the ones I encounter don't act like they think I am stupid or frivolous. Most of my bags are designers they have never heard of so they just assume it is cheap.

Simple I don't answer. I only answer if it's a good friend who won't care or someone who seems to really love a bag. Otherwise I say I'm uncomfortable with talking about money and I've never had a problem with people at all.

'If you have to ask you cant afford it'.... And they probably dont know the designer either. my reply sounds kind of mean...but i do agree..i rally feel awkward as though people judge too much.

No one usually asks me (except DH). If it's a friend and maybe I'm showing her the bag and asking her opinion, then I would tell her the price. I wouldn't do this show and tell business with anyone who wasn't in a position to buy something just as expensive.

This just happened to me today. I was carrying my new Balenciaga city with gh and she said "girl how much did that bag cost you?" I told her I wasn't going to tell her. She said come on, $500? I said no, and you can say whatever number you want and I won't tell you. She asked me why and I said b/c you will just make fun of me and she said "I know, I would make fun of you." It is my policy now to only tell if a friend is as into bags as I am.

I've never had people I don't know too well ask about my bags. The only people who ask me are my parents, sisters, and my older sister's best friends- and that's only because we are all into bags so we might be buying them, lol. I don't know how I'd react to someone asking how much my bag is though, I'd like to think I won't mind but who knows? :p
