How do you pack your Chanel for international vacation?

I pack mine in a hard roller carry on, stuffed with the original stuffing and put them in their dust bags. The carry on always goes in the overhead locker and I ensure any items I may need on the flight are in a separate bag so I don’t need to unlock the roller bag with my bags. The carry on is quite deep so I can fit 2 Chanel medium flaps in each side without them being crushed. I usually pack some jumpers or something soft around the bags to cushion them. I always travel like this and my bags are always fine. I prefer to put the bags in a hard carry on instead of a larger tote bag as I feel like they are more secure going through security. Hope this helps!

I pack my birkin 30 or kelly 28 in the original box, which fits nicely inside my carry on. For B35s, it's a different story, but I rarely take them with me on trips these days.
I also always travel with my Chanel WOC, which I store in its original box inside my travel tote bag.
Last summer I nested a Gucci Ophidia tote in its dustbag inside a Tory Burch ella printed tote and it worked really well!
We don't need to be too precious with these bags, just a little creative

I took 2 medium lambskin CFs and a Togo K25 on an international trip with one connecting flight. Packed all bags with usual stuffing inside respective dust bags, in my carryon. The only other item in there was a pair of headphones, no food or heavy objects so they don’t squish the bags. Went fine, no issues.

I think Chase Amie did a video on how to pack luxury bags for traveling.

i only travel with my Chanel bags in their original box, that way you can be almost 100% sure they won't be crushed since it has hard protection around it. to save space and to protect the bag further, i stuff the remaining space in the box with socks, camis, and other small thin items. yes, the box takes up more space, but chances are if you're travelling internationally, you have a check in baggage, so i usually don't have much with me in the carry on.

I put my Chanel in my personal item, usually my LV large neverfull and have my Chanel bag packed with contents. I don't have a mini, but I did this with my jumbo and my M/L before and it was fine. I always put it in its dust bag and will try to put a softer item next to it like my sweater or wrap for the plane. I don't think I would ever pack it in anything other than a carry on. I am also careful about liquids. My daughter is a similar age, so for our upcoming trip we are going to try her out with a kids backpack with wheels to be her personal item. We will have her wear it on her back just for boarding with nothing too heavy in it, but her blanket and stuffies take up significant space, so I am *hoping* to get my neverfull back to be just for me.

I’m super paranoid about the quilts on any of my Chanel bags getting dented when I travel. For that reason, I don’t really take them on trips with me. But after reading through this thread, maybe I’m overthinking things and I should start! I have traveled with my mini a few times. I saved a small box that some item was shipped in that’s the perfect size for my mini. I put it in the dust bag and pop it in the box. The box either goes in my locked carryon in the overhead or in my personal item by my feet.

Generally I don't. But if I remember correctly for the few weddings I attended overseas, I packed my Chanel in my carry on with tissue paper first, then light bubble wrap. I never brought the box along in case customs thinks they are brand new and I'm in the business of trading and selling. Customs in different countries work very differently.
