How do you open a stuck OPI bottle?

yay, I'm glad you were able to finally get it open! I have never heard of using rubber bands, I am keeping that one in mind. I usually have luck with hot water actually.

One of my super light OPI shades was COMPLETELY stuck. I had my dad try and open it for me. He gave it one quick little twist, didn't open, so he tried just tapping it against the counter to maybe loosen it and it completely shattered! (obviously!) I was like :| "Well, it's open now!" ... D:

I had one stuck and after trying lots of ways of opening it I ran it under hot water and I was able to open it.

Thats what I did when my Nail Envy bottle was impossibly stuck and it worked!

The hot water always works!

Also, just make sure you clean up the rim of the bottle when you're done with some nail polish remover... (my sister thinks that's obsessive, but she's the one who can never get her bottles open!)

When it happens to me I just place the nail polish bottle in the sink and let it sit under steaming hot water for about a min. After you dry it, it should open! This always happens to me with OPI!

When the muscles aren't around I use the hot water method though. I just run the cap under steaming HOT water for 30 seconds or so and use a towel or washcloth to dry and open the bottle. Works everytime. Like Ladybug mentioned, I also clean the rim with polish remover so it doesn't happen again
