I finally pulled the trigger on a dark berry Dinky with the summer sale. Have been looking at these bags for a while, have gone through all the topics related to these bags, but still wanting to hear more. How do you like your Dinky bags? What all fits and what do you carry in it?

I mean I LOVE the leather and the high quality construction, but this bag fits nothing.

Ughhh same! I absolutely love the look and leather quality, but the fricking kisslock takes up so much space. At minimum I need to at least fit my phone, small wallet, and lv 6-ring key holder.

My frame 23 fits my needs thank goodness! I want to buy more of them while they are still on sale.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg I love the look of the Dinky and the quality but they fit only a slim wallet, a phone and a few lipsticks. I can also squeeze something small in the front internal pocket like my glasses and then put the phone in the outside pocket but that’s it! That being said, I’m obsessed with Dinkies and that style in general. I have a turquoise one, a Flax (yellow), a Colorblock Grey, a Wild Tea rose one, a ‘17 patchwork one, as well as a turnlock crossbody in natural which is essentially a Dinky without the kisslock, as well as a Dinky 24 with tea roses and a Riley. If I need to take more than just a wallet, phone and a lipstick, I go with Dinky 24 or Riley. Those fit extra stuff that is flat like a diaper, a baggie of snacks, a fruit pouch, maybe a chewing gum, but nothing like a bottle or a small brush because it will pucker out the bag and won’t close. I really like Dinkies because I’m small (5’2”) and I think they are a classy casual bag.

Sorry to hijack someone else's thread, but in a similar vein, how heavy do you find the Dinky? I keep trying them in store and they seem to weigh so much just empty. How heavy are they to carry around for a day when full?

I love the look of the Dinky, its beautiful leather, and the many color choices. However, it is very small and carries a minimal amount of necessities. I own one Dinky which I've only used twice and another one from the Snow White collection that I haven't used at all. My SA calls them my "museum pieces." LOL

Please post a photo when you get your Dark Berry Dinky- I'm in love with the color and I am really tempted to pull the trigger on this one

Well, I have several, and I really like them. They fit almost all of my items, so I don't have to scale back much when I use them. I like switching between small bags like the Dinky, and my larger small bags for variety. As for the weight, they are very light because they are small. They take up less space, so it just seems lighter in general.

Thank you all for the input, and the pics! I typically like larger crossbody bags, but lately have downsized what I carry because I don't want to be bogged down by a bunch of crap every day. I typically carry a card case, sunglasses, eyeglasses (though I doubt I'll be able to have them in the casess), my iPod and earbuds. I may use the kisslock pouch for my earbuds or any papers or receipts.

Also, I will post pics when I get it! I hope I can work with the size, I love the look and color.

Edit: Also, does anybody know if the dark berry dinky has gunmetal hardware or the matte black, the one that chips easily? It says pewter on the website, but I don't know which that is. All the other dark berry products have gunmetal hardware but it looks matte black in all the pics I've seen so I'm confused.

My answer is that I kind of don't.

I mean I LOVE the leather and the high quality construction, but this bag fits nothing. I find myself reaching for my Cooper Shoulder or my fall '17 Kisslock for a small crossbody bag.

I don't know if I'm happy or sad to hear this! I've been contemplating the crystal tea rose dinky. I LOVE the crystal tea roses, but I'm undecided about the dinky as a bag overall...I worry that it's just going to be too small and not very functional for me. It's so pretty though!

It's kind of a moot point because even with SAS, it's still more money I want to spend on something that would only be an occasional-use bag for me, but I still keep thinking about it!

I love the bag I switched to a thick chunky guitar style strap and its a great look but It doesn't fit anything at all I can fit sunglasses, regular glasses my tiny Gucci lipstick/chap stick holder (holds two tubes) and fit my keys if I Tetris that S*** in there but its a great bag and very dear to my heart. I have the burnished leather with painted heart interior got it for a steal at the last sale.
