Why let the opinions of others drive a decision you want to make! It should be your sole decision to choose what you want to do and what you want to buy! Also, it doesn't matter if your straight or gay to purchase anything!
My mother's ex-husband wore one back in the 70s. They look fine but may appear a little out of place if you work in a conservative work environment.
It does come in a heavier weight option...

I totally agree with this sentiment as well. I think the LOVE bracelet is more conservative and since its more streamlined it would look more suited in a conservative environment.
OP I think if you are going to wear the JUC in a social context then it would look good as the JUC and the LOVE were both designed to be worn by both men and women... But if you were to wear the JUC day in, day out regardless of environment, I think I would recommend against buying the JUC as it is more of a trendy, yet classic piece compared to the LOVE and like Chistofle said, it may look a little out of place...

Oh right!! But gosh it would be like a glorified solid gold half handcuff around you at all times! Stack a few up your arm and you can be doing some bicep training with it!
Actually I would go to the gym more often if they used Cartier weights
