I think I would rent bags on my wish list, and if after a few weeks I love it even more then I'd buy one.

Hm...no, not working for me.
To be dramatic: My purses are kind of invited to my life, trusted companions...no way to lend litte friends ;).
Serious: If there would be a red-carpet-situation I had to survive, I would think about renting a lovely Knot or something like that - preconceiving it´s a bag, I never "need" again.

I lend bags to a trusted friend that needs to show up her sister in law on certain occasions. I am only to happy to help even the playing field . They are always returned in perfect condition.

sounds interesting. Specially if it be mutual. Well at least i prefer borrow and lend to my friend rather than renting from those rental services such as BBOS. :graucho:
