How do you feel about not wearng a wedding band with your e-ring?

My e-ring is the type that "stands alone" so I didn't get a w-band. I think it's actually kind of a trend! I've seen other married women who only wear their e-ring. My ex-SIL did as well.

Now, I did get married 13 years ago and had a yellow gold e-ring. For our eleventh anniversary, DH bought me a band that has eleven 10-pointers, shared prong setting, in white gold. I wear it alone ALL THE TIME -- I just LOVE it. I have the best of both worlds -- a yellow gold look and a white gold one.

Back in 1995, the jeweler at flagship Neiman Marcus store in Dallas told me that the "monied" people wear their wedding rings on their left hand all the time and their engagement rings on their right hand occasionally when they would go out. (We were looking at an ornate pave' band and we started talking about wearing this with a solitaire or something.)

Maybe I am going against the grain here, but to me, nothing says "married" more than the w-band & e-ring together....I love that the 2 most meaningful pieces of jewerly I'll ever wear are together <3
