OP - thank you for this thread! Your diamonds are all droolworthy. I love old diamonds and estate jewelry. Something about the history of them. I always wonder who wore it and who will wear it next after me and so on.

Elizabeth Taylor always used to say she was just the current "caretaker" of her pieces. I love that.

WOW! That ring makes me second think radients!! I love the yellow gold accents in the setting. Its AMAZING! I quite like the color of that radient too! Its stunning.

Thank you! I love it! I haven't quite decided on that setting but it will be something similar. I was more into the cushion cut but the color on the radiant was perfect, and that was what i decided was most important.

Thank you. I love that quote! I am really into antique jewelry right now. I love pondering the history, too!

Here are some pics of my solitaire: it's an L/M. It has a beautiful warmth to it, but never shows up yellow at all.

I personally LOVE lower-colored diamonds! Good luck in your search!

Your ring is gorgeous!

Why not? They are the same as those D-F range, they are all diamonds. It is just that the demand for colorless diamond is there. I think people who go low on colors and clarity are the smart people.
