Michael Kors How did you discover Michael Kors?

I first heard of Michael Kors on Project Runway (which incidentally isn't the same without him!) I shied away from his stuff though because of the price point, and the clothes because I don't expect he carries plus sizes.

I bought my first MK about a month ago. Small Fulton crossbody in denim. I combined a sale, a credit card discount and a gift card at Macy's to bring it to a more reasonable price for me. I carried it for a solid 3 weeks, just changed out this past week. It's almost too small, but I love it.

I'm sure I'll buy more in the future. Not really feeling this saffiano kick he's on though.

MK was never on my radar until a couple years ago when I spotted a Camo print Grayson at Bloomingdales (I'm obsessed with all things Camo). I waited for a sale and bought the bag and the matching wallet and MK fell promptly off my radar again. I was more into Marc by Marc Jacobs and Tory Burch.

Fast forward to earlier this year, one of my good friends gets a job as a buyer for MK and gives me a Friends & Family card, good for 30% off full price and 25% off sale. So I went into the MK boutique to check out the offerings and realized his stuff is just as cute as Tory but cheaper! Now I'm obsessed. I've bought clothes, shoes and countless bags and now I can't get enough.

You are a lucky girl! And you have a great friend!

I'm a newbie and I've been always in love with LV until I went to Macy's and saw how beautiful the Michael Kors bag was and I loved it because it comes in so much color. Never thought I would buy any MK until I bought my first Hamilton in soft leather and did research on it and I didn't want the slouchiness so I returned and got my first Selma medium messenger in fuchsia, then got my medium Cynthia in Mandarin. But that's not the last of it there's more to go. MK could be very addicting as LV.
I'm also a newbie to MK. My true love is LV with a little Coach sprinkled in. However, I was on ideeli a couple months ago and saw this great bag in navy called the Selma. I started researching it and found out it was made by Michael Kors. Several days of research later I had to get one on sale and give it a try. The one on ideeli had sold out by then. Lucky for me, Macy's was having a sale that very weekend, and I snagged the Large Selma Satchel in Luggage for 25% off! What a beauty! Luggage wasn't even my first choice color, but now it's one of my favorites because it goes with everything and will work well all year round. The next color I had to have was Malachite, which is no longer sold in stores. But after calling around I found one in the fulfillment center of Bloomingdale's. For some reason, they had one available. The SA couldn't even confirm if it would actually ship because they no longer sell that color. I waited on pins and needles for 2 days and...presto...the bag shipped and now I also have a beautiful green Selma with gold hardware for the fall. I had to pay full price, but it was worth it. Finally, I'm currently on the search for Sapphire. I think it comes in stock again next month, and I'm hoping to snag one on sale. Wish me luck! This is my last must-have color. Once I acquire Sapphire, I think I'm done on the Selma front.

I'm not a big fan of all the hardware on the Hamiltons and have an LV already that looks similar to the Sutton/Dressy. And I'm not really a fan of totes. However, the Miranda just recently caught my eye. I'm definitely a MK convert. Great styles and great prices. Works for me.

For me, it was about two years ago. I had never heard of Michael Kors... I also wasn't very familiar with designer bags in general. I was more about Coach, mainly because I would go through cheap handbags like people go through socks and the Coach outlets near me have AMAZING sales all the time. I've always had a weak spot for Burberry's haymarket check design, but that isn't something I can buy multiple times throughout the year.

I was staying with one of my best friends at the time, and she had this beautiful black soft leather MK bag. The leather felt SO amazing, much better than what I was getting at Coach (sorry, Coach lovers!). I asked her what the MK stood for and later that day I checked out their website. I was in love and the prices were great! So a couple weeks later when I was having a really bad day and in need of a pick-me-up, I went to the local MK store and purchased my very first--a black, large Astrid satchel. After that I never turned back and now I have an entire collection!

It was 2004 and I was in Macys and I saw a really cute top on sale, I purchased it and it fit me so beautifully it was a Michael Michael Kors top and I knew of Michael but only as a high end designer and i fell in love with his clothes because they fit women's bodies like a glove. So fast forward years later I notice he has a nice handbag line, I normally was a Guess bag girl and 9West and my high end bags were always LV because of the great pre-loved deals I would get.By 2013 I had 7 MK bags, 4 MK watches, 3 shirts, dresses, shoes and fragrance. Although MK is not my favorite designer I do love his quality for a great price. The girls at my local store all know me by name and call me personally whenever new stock comes in
Lucky you... I live in a small town so there's only one boutique about 20 minutes away from me, with an outlet store about an hour away. The girls at the boutique are so rude, while the girls at the outlet are super pushy

I started getting into designer bags in high school, and knew what MK was, but didnt look into them until a few years ago. I was always iffy about the leather the bags were offered in, but I love the saffiano leather.

I saw the MK bags in the mall, while looking at Coach...Been a Coach girl FOREVER. Then, this year, on New Years Day - I went to Dillards for their big sale. I couldn't even get around the purse section, so I wandered down the mall to the MK boutique... The sales ladies were SOOO polite and I saw the croco-Selma and FELL IN LOVE!! Now, about 12 bags later (yikes) I am quite addicted!!

I was a huge Coach fan until last year when it seemed (at least to me) that everything new was from the Legacy collection, which just isn't my style. That's when I started collecting Michael Kors and some Rebecca Minkoff. There's something about these bags that just do it for me. The gorgeous bright colours, beautifully designed hardware, and wide variety of styles. I still love and purchase from Coach, but I consider myself more of a MK girl and Minkette now. :D

I didn't start looking at MK bags until I saw an E/W Hamilton and fell in love. I had been carrying Guess and Kathy Van Zeeland bags since '06 (when I was in high school lol) but it started to become increasingly harder to find bags that I actually liked, so the Hamilton caught my eye at the perfect time. And I've gotten such good deals on my bags, I like that MK is affordable for a college student like me that wants a nice bag without breaking the bank.

I knew of Michel Kors because of Project Runway. Although, I had never seen any of his designs. I saw the Hamilton bags sometime around the end of 2010 and fell in love with them.

I ended up buying my luggage Hamilton tote a few months later in 2011 and haven't looked back!
