Just curious how everyone was able to afford to their pieces and back stories. I've wanted a YG love bracelet for about 5 years now, and I was recently promoted so I finally (kind of) have the means, but I'm feeling so guilty. Like I should be saving that money, or I feel guilty that it could help so many people. I know this is a ridiculous thought but I can't help it.. ugh. So just curious how everyone justified buying, whether you saved for a few years, or just made enough in your job to not even think about it. Just FYI background, I'm 28, have a stable job, no student loans or significant bills, just trying to save for a house.

Not a ridiculous thought at all. My advice is to focus on savings and investments over material things. Focusing on growing your wealth at a young age really pays off in a decade or two. The cost of the bracelet can go a ways towards a down payment. When you are older and have the financial means it will be easy to spend because you won’t even have to think about it and you will also have the means to divert money to other areas eg charity. Having said this there is nothing wrong to buy that love bracelet you have wanted for years. Really it comes down to personal choice and your comfort level spending. Good luck with your decision.

Love this thread. So, I wish I had made all my Cartier purchases prior to getting married, buying the house and having kids. My finances have been tied up with all those commitments. 6 months ago, I finally bit the bullet and began buying pieces. I am still holding out on the YG Love Bracelet. I am hoping to bite the bullet soon. I work quite hard but I keep looking at the expense and remind myself I have one kid in college and 2 more to go- so it makes it hard not to consider that. Normally, I make purchases without giving a second thought however, this one has me a bit on the fence. I have been going back and forth on purchasing the cuff as that is less costly and easier to take off. However, I know my personality- I don't want to have buyers remorse later in not getting the key piece of the Love Collection. Hope this helps.

I sold some luxury items I wasn't using, plus we had some extra discretionary cash in the budget each month. I got a Love Cuff for a big birthday and another one for my 5th anniversary. We had bought a house about 9 months before I made the purchases and we had been putting a LOT of extra $ on the mortgage each month, so I didn't feel too guilty spending the $.

I wanted one for about 11 years before I actually pulled the trigger. I get an annual bonus and every year I kept saying I was going to get it, but then when the time came I felt it would be more “responsible” to spend that money on other things, like projects around the house. Then I finally said I was tired of wanting it but not getting it. So I bought it with my next bonus, and honestly couldn’t be happier. I sold the house I was living in and doing projects on. But I still have the love bracelet LOL.

do you have any issues with the cuff falling off or does it move around in your wrist where the bottom shows upward?
