How are your Chanel rainboots holding up?

Don't feel bad about returning them, on a practicality scale, they score about a 3 for me. I tried them on 5 times on 3 different days lol.
Although they looked cute I just kept thinking, "when the hell am I going to wear rainboots"? I understand the battle between returning/keeping the boots but I think you made a good decision.

Last year I HAD to have pair of yellow patent aquatalia rain boots. They were so funky, fun and different I wore them all the time...rain or shine. Where every I go I either get compliments or crazy stares lol, but I LOVE them and I am so happy I got them! I have a feeling I will LOVE my Chanels even more since they are a bit more versatile than rubber duckie yellow patent boots:graucho:

I think they hold up pretty well. I've worn them 3 times and they're fine. I don't see why they wouldn't work in snowy conditions. I wore my Burberry rainboots all last winter in Illinois and will probably split it up between Burberry and Chanel this winter.

The only issue I have is after a while, I start to feel pressure on the top of my foot and it starts to ache. I tried sizing up because the calf was a little tight, but even one size up felt just as snug in the calf, so I returned the larger size and stuck with a 37.

i'm also curious as to why an SA said they wouldn't work in snowy conditions. i mean, bottom line, they're just rubber boots.

can anyone tell the width of the throat of the boots?
