OMG my two Favorite stores.I don't mind at all! We were kind of rushed anyway. We got to our hotel at 4:30 and headed out the door a little after 5. It was a 15 minute walk and I wanted to hit up both Coach and Tiffanys ( which was a few blocks further up).
I have found that the service in higher end stores is so gracious---the SAs don't care if I'm in shorts and a tee shirt, sporting Sperrys and a vintage Coach bag. I love the Gucci boutiques and Tiffany because they assume you have money if you are in their store and don't mind chatting about their products. The only place I've gotten attitude is at LV in Northpark in Dallas. Like LV is even worth it </eye roll>Tiffany's 5th Ave store was certainly an experience. I have never been one for high end jewelry, but I had my purchase planned out and started saving months in advance ( titanium jewelry, I can't destroy that, lol). Three stories high and they served us drinks on a silver tray. We aren't chic people by any means and my husband kept joking that someone with a top hat and monocle was going to ask us to leave at any moment. They were so nice though and treated us practically like royalty.
