rox_rocks, I'm scared to look at the room rates! But, hey, if they give out scarves for certain rooms, count me in for a Dubai TPF meet:p!! I'll just need to save up for a few decades first!

toniec, I'm a lazy traveller by nature - time is MONEY! so Le Bristol is always good for me, just a short stroll from the mothership! Good three course dinners, fabulous breakfasts, I wholeheartedly recommend. And concierge who very helpfully do everything for me from postcards to mundane administration....I like it better than the Ritz to be honest.

mooks and rox_rocks, I haven't stayed there before but I've already booked Hotel Ares Eiffel Paris for our June trip to Paris, so hopefully it is good! I will post here to let you guys know how it is when I come back! Apparently the reviews for this hotel in Tripadvisor is really good! I can't wait!!

Yea they have Hermes toiletries at Burj Al Arab, here are some pics I took!!:p

Hey. Nice. They changed the bottles coz when I was there they still had the roundish bottles for the gel and etc. ;)

How did you enjoy the bed? Don't think I am nasty, I really enjoyed the bed because it had an amazing mattress, I had a hard time getting up. :laugh:

the scarves were all the same design, the ties too, H orange with an abstract stripe in a deeper orange and some touches of white and rouge h, nothing uber-amazing but a nice touch nonetheless

mudmud - DH and I will be in paris in june as well...perhaps we can meet up?
(of course other tPFers most welcome!)

we've made tentative bookings to stay at the sofitel le faubourg --- close to FSH plus H toiletries as a bonus! :p

I'm still curious about your hotel though...

good to know they use the eau de merveilles line and terre d'hermes...

I wonder if they use these two as a standard for hotel use?
