My local jeweler was willing to help me get a GIA appraisal report for mine. I liked having the piece of mind that it was in fact excellent cut. It cost a couple hundred dollars for the report. I would only do that with a jeweler you trust out of fear of swapping. In my case it was a small jeweler my family had shopped with for years.
I hope you can just enjoy the ring and not go researching/looking for faults (that last bit probably came out wrong but if you're looking for ideal specs and anything falls short, that's what I am alluding to). He took the time to pick it for you and has great meaning behind it. It won't be the same ring if you swapped it for something else.

I think your ring is beautiful. I agree with everyone else to not get too caught up in the characteristics of the diamond. I went down the rabbit hole over at Pricescope and saw so many there agonizing over selecting the perfect diamond. To each their own, but wow can that take out the enjoyment of shopping.
I finally came around to trusting my eyes. If the diamond is bright and sparkly and white, no shadows or visible inclusions, I’m happy.
I also firmly believe that even a perfect diamond cannot be saved by a cheap setting. You have a classic Tiffany setting that looks elegant, refined, and will never go out of style. Enjoy this special time!
