Hello All, my Fiance purchased an engagement ring from Tiffany a few months ago and recently proposed.

He received the certificate of the diamond after the purchase and the details are as follows:

Carat: 1.07
Table size: 56%
Total depth: 61.9%
Crown height: 14.7%
Crown angle: 33.8
Star length: 55%
Pavilion depth: 43.7%
Pavilion angle: 41.2%
Lower half length: 80%
Girdle thickness: medium to slt thick
Culet: none
Measurement: 6.57-6.62 x 4.08mm

We would like to know your opinions on this diamond. Is it cut ideally? Is it considered a good diamond from Tiffany’s? He did not see the details prior to the purchase and I only started researching about the ideal depth, crown angle, and pavilion depth after the proposal. We realized that the diamond we got has depth, crown angle, and pavilion depth slightly not within the preferred range.

Thank you so much!

Do you love how the diamonds looks in various lighting settings? Does it stay bright and sparkly?
If so then the numbers don't matter. Trust your eyes and your preferences.
And congratulations on your engagement! Wishing you many happy years together
Thank you so much!🥰 Yes, I like how it looks in various settings. It faces up white, clear, and sparkly.

We understand that Tiffany has their own grading system and we are hoping these specs are considered excellent with the price Fiance paid. We all know how expensive Tiffany is.🥹

Agree with @A bottle of Red . In addition to the overall look and brightness/sparkliness, clarity and color matter to me the most.
I like a clear diamond, no imperfections that I can see and a nice "clear" or "white" color (so no gray or yellow).

Congratulations on your engagement!! :yahoo:
Thank you so much!☺️ We didn’t go with the highest color or clarity grade. It’s an H and VS1. We can’t see any imperfections without the help of the loupe. Here is a pic of how it looks like, hoping it doesn’t look gray or yellow to you all😆

It looks lovely and icy white! Enjoy your beautiful ring and wonderful fiancé

It looks beautiful! Please enjoy it without thinking about all the details and the price. It's a TIFFANY diamond! If you look, there may be some with similar specs that are cheaper, some more expensive. But it only matters that you love it and you two love each other. Wishing you and your fiance many years of health and happiness.

I will enjoy and treasure it more now! I am very grateful that Fiance spoiled me with a Tiffany diamond🥹 Thank you very much for your kind message🥰

I think you’ll get more detailed feedback on the stone if you ask on Pricescope.com. This forum is great for advice too, but it’s more focused on jewelry pieces, brands, bags, etc., rather than stone evaluation. If you're looking for an in-depth stone analysis, Pricescope members are very passionate about all the details and stone parameters.
