Thank you. The color is luggage.
oh thanks....it's lovely
would you say your pics are pretty accurate on the color?
I would think it looks more chocolate than lugguage in the pics
Of course, designers can all a color whatever they want. My kooba jonnie is called Rose and there is nothing pink about it. It's much more orange.

Gee, I'm sorry sdkitty! I have been away from all my communication devices lately and I just saw this. I don't know what color that is at all, but it certainly is gorgeous! Hope you find out.

that's OK
Tara answered me...says the color is luggage
Kooba has so many brown colors I'm confused. I'm pretty sure the very first Jonnie I saw at nordies was tan. In my mind it was pretty close to a michael kors luggage color.

I've seen camel kooba bags in styles similar to Jonnie and that's too light.
Ginger looks nice. Earth and mocha may be more cool toned than what I want.
The luggage color in Tara's photos looks more chocolate to me.

re your Ginger - would you say it's a color that can stand up to everyday use - not too light?
I have a Kooba Meredith in Blonde if you know what that looks like and it's a bit too prone to getting marked up and kind of spring/summer looking so I don't want anything that light.

There's one on ebay now that looks similar to Ginger but the seller doesn't know the color name.

Hi-Relatively new to PF-joined because I got into Bal bags and was researching. I drifted over here and was glad to find this thread. I bought 3 Koobas back around 2005-2006 --one a Sienna (of course!) and the other 2 I have no idea what model. One is that beautiful Ginger color in a hobo style and Mom talked me out of her. The Sienna and the other unknown black model (smaller with a flap 1 thick strap, small string ties on flap and on two pockets on each end ) are old favorites-the leather is gorgeous--thick and just yummy. At some point I got into a little higher end bags and forgot about Kooba although I held onto mine. Then I remember looking at Koobas maybe 3 or 4 few year ago and not even recognizing them they are so far from what my oldies are like-the leather was not good and the styles not appealing to me. I have not looked in a few years but based on this thread I am going to check them out again-good to hear they are improving! For the price point I think those oldies were some incredible leather--nicer than a chloe I have and in my opinion nicer than some of the newer Bal leather--that may be just me though because I really love that thick slightly distressed look. I have started to use my well loved Koobas again the last few years --they are my go to bag for events like music festivals--sturdy, look good a little distressed and have a slight hippie vibe!

What a great forum--I was just able to identify the Kooba that Mom talked me out of a few years ago--Lucy and I guess not Ginger but maybe Cognac or tan. Mom still loves to carry it especially in the Fall. the pictures on this forum reminded me of what a nice bag she was!

Good for you for using your "old" Koobas. I only had two from years ago - a Meredith, which I still have and Paige, which I loved but returned to the store due to a defect.

They really were amazing leather! Now that I can start a thread I will post pictures of the one I have that I can't identify.

Yeah, the photo is pretty accurate on the color.

Well, I am bumping this thread haha. I absolutely love my Kooba Jonnie still, but the stitching was fraying/getting sharp somehow at the top so I contacted Kooba and they told me to pay $35 for a repair and mail it to New York. I received it today, with the box in the condition below...and my Jonnie still has the same issue... Anyway, thought at least tPFers here could sympathize [emoji22]IMG_20180620_155355_1.jpgIMG_20180620_153224_1~01.jpg

It seems to not let me edit the previous post, but Kooba reached out to me and are making this right, so now I am back on the Kooba train haha...
