I have a Halzan 25 that I love, but I feel like the straps are too short for my body.

I recall Hermes once sold extension pieces, or I’m contemplating adding holes to the very end of my leather strap.

Does anyone have clever ideas???

I’m not 100%sold on using silk as strap, though I recall the extension piece would require to use silk as straps…

Anyways, thank you in advance. I love my bag, and I’d like to wear it more cross body than on the shoulder.

Hermès does punch extra holes in straps/belts if you need them. I get them done in the store while I wait. As to extenders, I'd check Etsy for someone who can maybe make you one.

This is interesting -- at the 15 min mark she adds a completely different (H) strap to the Halzan 25 -- might be an option for someone to change up the look. It looks like it might stretch the strap holes to do this, but it can be done.

I don’t know if she’s new or not. I actually had to show her a picture on my phone!

Halzans seem so loved by those that have them…. I wonder why they are becoming rare or possibly discontinued? It’s really the only H bag I can justify the $$ because it’s so practical and timeless.

I got my Halzan 31 in color Nata with palladium hardware. When I first got it I was head over heels because when I tried it it was during winter and I was wearing a coat and the size was perfect. But now I’m second guessing the size 🥹

Should I try to get a 25? Probably in the resale market gonna “trade in” my 31.

I think it looks very good on you, but I think it is a matter of habit - what size bag do you usually carry? How are you normally seeing yourself? If you often wear a small bag, this one is of course takes up more space ☺️

I think it looks great, and if it works for you in terms of holding your stuff, just go for it.

It looks great on you. Funny you said was during the winter time when you got it. I wear 31 mostly in winter with boots and jacket it just looks perfect. Why not save it for winter when wearing heavier coast or times that need more storage… I have both 31 and 25. I also love using 31 for travel and times needed for more space to carry stuff… it is so lightweight plus so many alternatives to wear. Not to mention big bags are coming back. Personally, I think it looks fabulous on you!

I kind of wish h would make a size 28 which i think would be the perfect size. I have a 25 which i love for travel bc it fits that stuff perfectly but would be too small for daily use.
