They are two very different bags. One is flat & the other one is hobo shape. My lindy26 fits more than Halzan31. Lindy 30 is pretty heavy. Did you check out lindy26 if the weight is your concern?

I have a lindy 26 and a halzan 31. My lindy 26 fits more than my halzan 31 in the main compartments. As for weight I feel they are about the same but the lindy strap is definitely more comfy than the halzan strap when there are more things as the strap is wider than the halzan strap but that isn’t a deal breaker for me

They are very different bags. I am leaning more towards a Halzan for the long strap option etc. I haven't checked the weight of a Lindy 26 and it might be a better fit size wise over the 30 for me? I have a 24/24 29 and it's heavy just empty. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.

i sold my halzan 31 for a halzan 25 but after getting the 25 I decided that the 31 still suits me better and I sold the 25 and got 2 more 31 in my opinion, halzan 31 is really a great bag By the way the Birkin in your avatar is gorgeous! Oh my, I can honestly say that I probably have done something similar with some bags. Bought and sold then re-purchase lol.2424 size 29 is heavier than halzan 31 and lindy 26

I recently got my 25 and wanted it for travel and found my phone fit in the outside pockets. My home store recently mentioned they will not be ordering any next year and sad such a versatile bag is not as popular. I also have a lindy 26 and while it will always have a special place for being my first H bag i find it heavy and really enjoy my garden file or halzan more.

I have the 31 and thinking getting a 25. Please tell me why you still like the 31 better? What’s the reason you sold 25?2424 size 29 is heavier than halzan 31 and lindy 26
I have a 25 and tried the 31 in store. 31 looks too big on my 5’1” height. I think 31 suits taller body frame. Plus it also depends on how much stuff you carry.
I had a Lindy 30 a few years ago, but sold it as I can not comfortably wear shoulder bags due to neck issues. I do have two 31 Halzans and I can say that i really like this bag. I use them when I travel and use it crossbody for keeping my things secure and hands free. I like the exterior pockets and the fact the bag buckles up securely. I just used it in Paris for 9 days this month and it was perfect. When my husband is with me, he likes to travel on the Metro and I feel much safer with a Halzan than carrying a Kelly or Birkin. I also travel at times with a Jypsiere. That bag prevented me from having a group of girls who surrounded me on the Metro from opening my bag due to the fact that I keep the straps securely fastened. They managed to get one strap undone, but could not get further than that. I did not notice until they got off at the next stop and I looked down and saw what had happened. A Halzan offers the same type of security in my opinion.
Thats exactly why i wanted a halzan for travel. Thankfully i never been in your situation and hate using ties and plastic travel bags to protect my stuff since they aren’t elegant for a nice dinner. Initially I thought i wanted the 31 but when i tried a 25 abroad in a color I didn’t want it fit all my travel essentials and was flat enough to tuck under a windbreaker if it rains.
I have both - they fulfill a different need for me. The Halzan is my perfect travel bag and even works as a work bag if needed. The 25 is a casual small bag for me, and I love that it is so versatile. I have other H bags in similar sizes but either bag is super versatile and useful in different situations.
I just saw a Halzan in the wild at the National Mall in Washington DC and now understand why those who have it love it, especially for travel. It looks so practical and easy to carry, yet chic and timeless at the same time. I want one!
