Hello, i am new here. I am sorry if i post to the wrong thread. Just wondering if anybody in hongkong had ever received shipment of hermes bags from overseas. Do we have to pay duty for receiving shipments of high $$$? Thanks in advance.

Dear Allinbee, If we are speaking of purses and bags, there is no import duty, even on bags in crocodile skin.

Even via fedex i do not have to pay duty right? Just need to wait for shipment and no need to pick up at fedex to clear package? I am waiting for my lindy (regular leather) from hermes usa.

The parcel will be delivered to the recipient address. Ask your seller for the FedEx tracking number and you can keep track of the parcel here at http://fedex.com/Tracking. Again, there will be no import tax when it comes to Hong Kong.
