As I just got a new job which doesn't allow me to wear my solitarie e-ring to work (inappropriate as I work in forensic custody settings), I NEED something simple to wear on my ring finger instead.

Wishful thinking, but I would love a tennis bracelet. I'll have to wait and save up for one. Won't be able to save enough by Christmas.
Would love to get my layaway out of the local pawnshop. It's a blingy marquise diamond cocktail ring.
I'd post a photo but I'm afraid to jinx myself!
I don't think I'll have it by Christmas though. Not until February (sigh)
P.S. My friends went to the pawnshop today and called me saying what treasures they came back with. I couldn't go (I have a bum knee right now) and it made me think about my ring, which I put on layaway back in May.
They bought white gold semi-eternity rings of various sizes. I can't wait to see the haul.

Yellow gold diamond eternity band
Haven't decided on the style yet. My wedding band is white gold round brilliant shared prong eternity, so I'm thinking maybe cushion/emerald/baguettes. I need this because over half of my jewelry is yellow gold...and I just can't mix metals.
Small diamond white gold pendant earrings
I only have a few pairs of understated white earrings that I can wear to work - the rest are too flashy for this job. So I'm stuck rotating the same 3 pairs each week. And I like switching things up!
Aaaaaannnnd...hopefully I'll have my new JLC watch by then, so I'll ask my family for a few straps to swap out with the bracelet (black satin, white leather).

LOL U are so funny :lolots:I think if I dared ask my DH for anything this Christmas, he'd shoot me a look & put me over his knee to give me a good spanking!!! This year, I've gotten everything I've ever wanted jewellery-wise AND more!
While it's nice to get a 'lil " sumpin' sumpin' " under the tree, we tend to treat ourselves throughout the year when we see something. Besides, I'm so incredibly impatient & I'd nag him to oblivion! He tells me I'm impossible to surprise anyways
My daughter is going to Hawaii in January and Im trying to decide what I want her to bring me back from Tiffany's. Everything is so much cheaper in the states than here in Australia.... hmmm thinking thinking....
