Just want to chime in that TJ Maxx/Marshalls tends to have ell-made Italian leather bags as well as other bags at affordable prices. Plus, their items go on sale. This is assuming you live by a TJ Maxx/Marshalls store but even if you don't, you can check out their website.
Additionally, at your price range, you can get preloved Louis Vuitton and other luxury brand bags from many of the powersellers on the bay. Especially the ones from Japan. The bags will obviously be used, but if you take your time, you can find some really nice bargains.

Well my concern is getting something that ends up being a fake. I'm not familiar enough with the bags to know.
Great thing about tpf is you can have items authenticated prior to purchase in the Authenticate This threads. There are also paid authenticators if you want to be doubly sure. But my reference to the preowned bag sellers was just a suggestion. You have loads of other good options as evidenced by the great comments in this thread. Again, good luck!

I was lucky enough to get an early bird, so by Christmas. Looks like they've been in business for a little while but this is their first Kickstarter. This give s me a lot more confidence of on time delivery. I'm so excited!

I didn't watch the whole video and my phone is weird and isn't letting me see all the details but based on what I know about those colors I think I'd definitely choose mocha (tends to be a better neutral, but is still a rich color!)

I have an experience to order a bag with my own design (but with inspiration of Valentino bag) from the small company in Russia (I am Russian but living in Spain). The result was very good - excellent quality leather, very good finishing and hardware. The price was 350€ with delivery fro Russia to Spain.
