The birch is a light light grey colour.

There's a love red color coming out in December. I tried to order it but the system wouldn't let it happen so I ordered scarlet instead.

A red bag with silver hardware is a pretty rare thing The Coach raspberry gathered Sophia fits the bill if you can find one on ebay etc

Those are great mod shots! The comparison w/the other bags is very helpful, too. I couldn't make up my mind on which color to get so I ordered both black and chestnut. I love the style and the fact that the bags are lightweight.
