Thanks, Doc! I am pretty handy and I follow direction well. If I purchase this, may I repost again and ask your advice on the rehab?

Kelly is my dream bag though the perfect ones are out of my budget. I have been looking for one that is slightly imperfect but fixable at a lower price point. I think I've found it!

Of course, come back when you are ready ,I'll be happy to assist you. Maybe you should go and get your Kelly...? Good luck!

Hello Doc
Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge with us...it is realy interesting to read all your advices!
I have bought a vintage Kelly for very little money and I want to try to improve the bags poor look with leather cleaner-leather dye--polisher and so on..
the bag is in a realy bad shape but it was realy cheap so I thought if I will mess it up its not that bad.
I realy would love to hear from you what you think about the bag..do you think there is any chance to improve the bags look?
Also could you advice me on what dye to use? In an older post you have used the Fiebings pro oil dye for a similar Kelly (box calf).. I guess my Kelly is also box calf leather!? Would you sugest to use the pro oil dye..or should I use the Fiebings Leather Dye?
Thank you very much for your help in advance
Kind regards
Gabrijel

It doesn't look like you need to do a dye job you need to do some color restoration so some tarrago color dye and Cream polish in a matching color would be all you'll need IMO. Start with a good cleaning (remove the old polish) and a good deep conditioning (Blackrocks Leatehr N Rich should do both clean and condition). OK?

Docride, I bought the Kelly :D My first Hermes! I'm very excited. While I'm waiting for it to ship, can you tell me what products I should buy to be ready to rehab it? I have Blackrocks. I'm including the auction link again so you can look at the pics if you need to.

Many thanks in advance, I so appreciate your help. I'm looking forward to creating my dream bag.

Hi Doc
Thanks for your advice. Are those Tarrago colors any different from the Fiebings? I cant find any Tarrago colors in my country...so can I just use the Fiebings and if so..should I buy the pro oil dye?
Thanks

Fiebings Pro Oil dye is NOT what you need. What color is your bag ? Black? If you don't mind ,let me know what part of the world or country are you in?
