Hello,

I arrived at 5:00 a.m. and was about 40th in line. I was with the first group through the door, just after 8:15.

I was also among the first through the door in 2011. On both occasions I met other lovely ladies, and we spent three hours talking about silk and H while waiting for the doors to open.

in 2011 I did not budget properly for the sale, and left with a very small assortment of items.

Today I was ready, and will post pictures over the weekend. I am still learning how to use my new phone.

The 90s I bought today are:

Photo Finish
Chasse en Inde (a gift for a friend)
Point d'Orgue (a gift for my mom)
Sous l'Edige de Mars
Hermes Sport

Yes, five 90s. I returned to the sale at around 4:00 in the afternoon. There was no line, and the selection was still very good, so I picked up two in the afternoon.

I also got a CSGM, a Clic Clac, two other enamels, a couple of ties, and a cashmere scarf for my husband.

I just about lost my head when I saw all the enamels. In 2011 there might have been 20 in total, and they were sold in the first 10 minutes. I am thrilled, especially with the Clic Clac.

It was lovely to see all of the SAs from the boutique. There weren't any mirrors to try on scarves, but the SAs were very helpful in deciding what looked best.

I don't think I will line up in the morning if they hold the sale again. It's a ton of fun, and I love meeting everyone, but I am EXHAUSTED, and tapped out.

I also learned I have a clear preference for Hermes Sport. You'll understand when you see the pics.

Fab Fashion/Nolita - I looked for you in line today but unfortunately we missed one another. Hope you are both well!

Finally decided to go after work and got there just before 6 and there was no line up to get in. I was there till they closed and there was tons of stock still left! I ended up getting a Songe de la Licorne in the noir/fuchsia/vert flou CW that i loved. I wanted to get a few enamels but they didn't have any in my size. :( They were really struggling to get everyone to the cash when I was leaving though! All in all, I thought it was very organzied and they had so much stock! Glad everyone had a good time!

Got a few things. Mostly for DH LOL. I was really hoping to see dark blue clics with PHW, but no dice. BUT here are the things I did get!!

I arrived at 7am, didn't get in until about 10am. You could only move forward (can't go backwards), so it was hard to decide what you wanted and what you didn't want. SO many options!! I spotted my SA and we chatted for a bit. She said I could go to the men's section and the limit cap would "Start over". When I went over, I wasn't allowed in with the bag I had just purchased from the main hall (but if you got something from the men's section, you were allowed to enter the main hall with your plastic bag. Ugh).

It was a lot of fun. But next time, I'll just come later as they replenish stock.

Anyway, the fruits of my labour!!

Three gorgeous ties for DH. One green, one blue, one violet.

A jaune soleil clic in GHW.

And the Chasse en Inde in Fuchsia/Violet/Canard.

Hello Ladies,

So glad you could find your treasures on sale and did have fun there. Unfortunatelly, couldn't make it. Taking care of my sick Mom who is staying with me.
I am just wondering were there any mousseline 140 on sale?
And a special thank you for posting your new H finds. Though I couldn't attend the even I can enjoy it thanks to your photos.

I hope your mom gets well soon.

Yes they had some mousseline 140 and it was $595. Perhaps it was the time I was there, but there were only a few patterns to choose from. I was lucky I found one I liked.

Oh, I am so in love with mousselines. And the price is so attractive. Were there any with ivory or white as a main colour? Please, reply "no" otherwise I will really be crying:-(
Thank you for good wishes to my Mom. Unfortunately, at 91 you cannot expect a happy end but I still hope.
P.S. Which one you were lucky to get if it's okay to ask.
TIA

Just want to share my experience today at the Hermes Charity sale. I got there before 1pm and went to the men section first as there was no lineup. Surprised to see lots of enamel and leather bracelets there so I was in there for quite awhile. They didn't have any clic clacs at first but after I picked out two gorgeous ties for DH and my dad, they suddenly appeared in the bracelet section! I'm so glad I spent a little more time in the men section! I picked up a thin PHW burgundy and a wide PHW Emeraude clic clacs. The SAs there was super nice and spent a lot of time helping me decide which ones I should buy. After I left the men section, I went straight into the silk side with no lineup. It was probably about 2pm. It was a lot more crazier over there and SAs were not as nice I guess because of all the customers they have to deal with. Anyhow, I picked up a couple 90 silks as well as a pair of twillies for my birkin. I have to say I'm very content with what I got today.

I have to thank you ladies here for letting me know that no bags were allow in so I carried my WOC. The coat check room was designer bags heaven! I see LV, Gucci, Fendi, Chanel, etc which I would never thought to see in a coat check room. Lol.

Lastly, here is a group picture of what I got! :)
