Hermes Toronto Sale - April 23, 2015!

It has just been announced this morning that Hermes will have a charity sale at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on Thursday, April 23, 2015!! It's been a few years since we've had a sale here, so it's nice to have it back again this year. Doors open at 8 a.m. Let the craziness begin!!

I'm like MASEML, I'm considering booking a flight. I've never been to one but the possibility to attend one might sway me to book a cross-Canada flight... Would camping out in front of the convention centre be in poor taste? :nuts:

Imagine hoards of women camped out! 8 hour drive for me! A flight sounds good.

Do we have to sign up anywhere or just show up? I've never been to one before. Is it going to be crazy? May be I should wear running shoes.

What time is everyone going?

The sale is for one day only, and I believe it ends at 4 or 5 pm. I have gone to the last few sales and the lineup is EPIC. But being the polite Canadians we are, it's all rather civilized! There is parking under the convention centre, if you get there early enough. Everything will be 50% off!!

It is a bit crazy with respect to the lineup Fabfashion, and once they open the doors, it's pure madness. They only let a certain number of people in at a time. Dress comfortably! And I would advise against wearing H scarves, as it can get complicated at check-out. Sometimes they don't know if you bought the scarf prior to the sale, or if you're picking it up at the sale. There is a separate lineup for men's ties.

There will likely be a limited number of SLGs and leather bracelets, MASEML. In previous years there were enamel bracelets, tons of 90cm silks, a small number of cashmere GMs, some china, loads of ties, and a small collection of canvas bags.

You're very welcome!! I imagine the lineups will be nuts this year, as it's been several years since we've had the charity sale here. So worth it though.

MASEML, also for comparison, a number of the regular items are cheaper here than buying in the US because of our lower exchange rate. Our 90 silks are about US$80 cheaper here, about $50 less for CSGMs and KDT. AND, about $450 less for Evelyne, just in case you're in the market for one. Not to be enabling or anything.

Just want to let everyone know that I was told the boutique will be closed that day because all staff will be at the sale, in case you are thinking about going to the boutique after.
