Hermes Toronto sale 2021

It would be hard to see this happening this year given the Covid numbers right now... I went two years ago and to be honest it was a bit of a disappointment especially after a very long line. I picked up a pair of gloves but nothing else of interest or that I was looking for. I might be interested in a scarf sale if it ever happens again, though.
(P.S. For some reason it says I'm a "new member"... I've actually been around since 2008 and drop in from time to time to research and "admire", but this is only my third post!)
It goes by time AND post count.

Yup, I know. (I don't want to unnecessarily spam threads with non-useful posts, but on the other hand, I am trying to get up to 5 so I can post a question I have now. *sigh*)
The sales have ended up being a stampede . I was in there for only ten minutes and the "bullhorn" man told me to "move on." We were allowed only 20 minutes each for looking. Since they started the sales many, many years ago, the resellers seem to be the first in line overnight or at some unheavenly hour like midndight in line. The first sale many moons ago was at a small restaurant, then the same after that. Once it went to the Convention Center, it ende up being like The Hunger Games. The point I am making is that it's no fun at all and there is no time to look at anything. Don't know if I will ever go again.

I agree. It's not at all like the experience of shopping in-store, or even the convenience of shopping online. For the time spent in line I just don't know that I would do it again, either.
