Hello all!

I wanted to see if posting this would help in any way. I am in the Orlando, Florida area and we are patiently waiting for the Hermès store to open in Mall at Millenia. Wondering if any of you lovelies that may live in the near area, or have been in contact with SAs, have any information as to when I may or is rumored to may open!

Thanks so much in advance!

OMG!!!! I will be in orlando in may!!! I will surely check it out, I would think this location is targeted to tourists as it is the meca for family/golf/disney visitors, would they have the sought after bags as well in stock?? :P
It's a whole new breed of "tourist" in Orlando now. I'd actually call them "travelers." These are people Hermes is targeting and as such, I'm sure this new Hermes will be stocked with the best-of-the-best. The amount of wealth among the tourists/travelers/conventioneers in the Orlando area nowadays is staggering. We stay at Four Seasons Orlando 4-5 times a year and that place is full of Hermes bags! Lots of Asians and Arabs at the hotel. The gift shop in the hotel sells Golden Goose shoes(guilty!) and Miu Miu Mouse ears (guilty again!) and Four Seasons Private Residences on the property start at $5 million (wishful guilty--those houses are amazing!). You'll be a kid in a candy store when you visit the Boutique. Enjoy it!

This is wonderful. I have been patiently awaiting the store's arrival. Can locals score an invitation to the opening? I know... probably wishful thinking.
I can't answer that for you. I don't know. I'm not a local (my home stores are not even in Florida) so how I got on the guest list is a mystery. We wanted to attend...make it an extended "Date Night" since travel is involved but...it's on a school night! I've got little ones that I need to wake, kiss, feed, dress, kiss again and shuffle off to school and I'm just not ready to delegate that to anyone else yet! I have girlfriends who wanted to go in my stead but the bottom of the invite (which is not visible in my pic) said it was non-transferrable. I would've loved to have boots on the ground for this soiree, someone to do a little recon for me!

Completely understand! Kiddos over Kellys. No dilemma. If I receive any intel or manage to land on the guest list, I'll share on this thread. Otherwise, I will certainly pop in to check out the store's offerings during the opening week.

Wow, now that's interesting. I haven't received an invite. I AM a local and have done more than a little business with H. :) It is the oddest company.

I'll ask my SA's what they think next time we talk. Maybe Corporate asks the stores for names? More likely it's simple targeted marketing. Hermes surely does it's homework. Wouldn't surprise me if they cross-checked spending/travel habits of clients and then used that info to source who would be most likely to attend the dinner and spend on their products. No matter, I'm sure there's a method to their madness.
