I do believe this is the first one in the middle row of the women’s 90s and also the middle of the men’s CS 100s - so the early confusion about this being silk or CS were merited since it will be out in both!

But I do have just one word to say - 'Thalassa!'

I agree on Thalassa, gorgeous! But I am a bit underwhelmed by the re-use of exact the same color palette as Orphee. I have that GM in blues and love it, not sure I need yet another.

I think the writing is there on the Botanica as I can see shadows down the sides etc when I have enlarged it. Failing that, I need new glasses! These pics look very washed out, e.g. compare the small Pony Pit Stop with the Purse bop picture of the same. Great fun this scarf and the reverse looks promising.

The DF 70 looks like Fantaisie d'étriers.
I've been wanting a 70 and that one could be right up my alley, depending on the colorways.

The same colour palettes re-used + the recurrence of white and "naturel" backgrounds = scarves which cost less... but are sold at inflating prices.

I am all in on Thalassa-- I do kind of love the idea of boats in blue but I see the reiteration of colors as a disappointment. I got Orphee in a different cw so maybe...but fingers crossed for many more cws to tempt us @frenchgirl (though I know you love your blues)...

Thank you for this @Hanton-- great points. The Pony Pit Stop is very cute with the graphic border and a promising "side B" -=- of course I am wondering what the price point will be. I used to think of 70s as a fun add on but the prices keep making that illusion more difficult to maintain! 70s are already $415 US so...

I am very intrigued now by the Carine Brancowitz "Boot scarf" because the border seems to be scenic! I don't have anything like that -- at least that I know of. Intriguing...

It seems so. I’m not madly in love with the scarves credited to her (though my profile picture is one) but there’s definitely been a shift since she left. I suspect there’s also a profit-seeking shift toward fewer colors and streamlined processes, and I wonder if that helped her decide to retire.

Back on topic! I love the Thalassa! The blue is perfect except that it duplicates too many others I have - I’m looking forward to seeing the other cws.
