After a couple of missed delivery attempts over the weekend, l'Herbe is finally here.

I'm not usually a fan of white hems, and I wasn't sure about hanging an apple around my neck, but this design is so adorable. I adore, adore picnics. The silk is nice and soft as well.

More photos of Un Carre sur l'Herbe in CW01, bleu ceil/vert/jaune.

Full admission. I was hesitating over a couple of colorways, but the juicy orange slices are what won me over for this colorway. Plus, I like bright colors. Okay, perhaps I was hungry as well when I ordered. :amuse: This bright scarf is filled with my favorite fruits.

Now, to get through this long winter which technically hasn't even begun, and back to outdoor dining.
Oh that ties really well!!!!

Thank you @cascade2021 for coming with the goods, again! :flowers::flowers: It makes such a difference to the process, at least for me. And I'm very grateful to you for this.
Could not agree more! It’s so helpful to be able to consider purchases with a sense of the colors available across the whole collection - always exciting to see these posts!

I am thrilled that you shared this, Redbirdhermes! We will be twins, I am waiting for mine in this cw as well, hopefully it will arrive tomorrow. I absolutely love those shades of green around the hem, but green is a tricky one for me to wear near the face, as it tends to wash me out. When I saw there was a picnic themed scarf, I knew I had to have it, and at first I set my sights on the one with the blue and teal tones around the outside. However, as I took stock of the other scarves I own, it occurred to me that this particular cw could be tied in a manner that mostly limited the greens to the outer area, and would allow me to wear that gorgeous green, too - perfect, add to cart! Also, as you said, the shades of the fruit in this cw are so appealing.

Huge thank yous for your thorough introduction to examples of how it ties. They are very informative and alleviate my anxiety on if I made the right purchasing decision.

Hello Scarfies!

Took a quick trip to the boutique today to see what new things were in. Our boutique had 3 CWs of Carre Sur l'Herbe. CW 01 is the one from the press release at the start of the thread, and one I had wanted to try on when this thread started. But they also had 2 other colorways, one which has a pretty swath of purple in it (and blue watermelon plus yellow contrast hem  ) I forgot to write which colorway that is, but it is pretty, with soft and bright pastels. I likened this colorway to a watercolor, with soft but bright colors and gentle edges and color blends. CW 01 is more like a painting on canvas in terms of colors. Love both! The third is too neutral for me, so I didn't try it on, but it is still a pretty combination for those who can get away with the neutral shades. Hope these may help someone. I have one other CW I want to try on before I decide. I have too many scarves now to not try on every one I want before I buy.

But here are some pics. Sorry I look so tired. Haven't slept. Spent most of yesterday at the hospital with my mom, who had a pin stroke earlier in the morning. She is fine, and was released in the late afternoon, but it was a day long saga.

Left is the ??? CW (blue watermelon). Middle is CW 01 (yellow watermelon), and right is the neutral CW. I think this CW is on the US site right now and is probably CW 05 (vert amande/blue/jaune). The basket reads teal on the website, but in reality is more cool blue.

How fantastic to see more pictures of this scarf in different color ways and more different ways to tie them. I particularly like the swath-of-purple, contrast-hem, blue-watermelon cw on you, bunnycat, but all are beautiful and I appreciated your descriptions and especially your points on where the color differed in real life compared to the website. And I envy your restraint in waiting to try that final cw that appeals to you!

Glad to hear your mom is okay, I hope you can catch up on your sleep sometime soon.

My pleasure! I'm not sure how long my restraint will last. Probably not more than a week or so at most. Thank you for the well wishes for my mom. It has been a really a difficult task to convince someone so very stubborn that they needed to go to the hospital for emergency care.
