I’m just copying and pasting @redheaddem’s wonderfully kind listing of this season’s scarves, so the list can be carried forward and we don’t have to hunt for so long for it.
I don’t think anyone else has added to it……

Hi
Can I ask if some of you might help me in my confusion?

There is a double face Della Cavaleria Favolosa in the new season by Virginie Jamin.
This one

But a few years ago there was another double face scarf with the same name and same designer which looks totally different.
This one :

The recent one does only have the name Della Cavaleria printed on it - but the website calls it Della Cavaleria Favolosa…like the other, which have printed this full name.

Might the ‘favolosa’ on the website be a mistake? Is there a new standard of calling different scarves the same name? - that could add confusion when searching and purchasing, especially when it is the same designer as well.
Can you help me make sense of it or is it just me getting it wrong?
Thanks!

If you really like this look, you should check some handicarfts from Romania/Carpathian mountains. They can embroider a LOT of flowers at a tiny fraction of what H charges for this bandana - with beads and all:smile: just sayin'... I think charging $2000 USD for this is really an overkill....
That is a very interesting piece of info about which I had no idea, @Ashanti_Rose. Thank you! I agree on the price. I think they offer these pieces for those for whom $2000 is nothing, but who want to feel they are acquiring something extra special, and especially for those who are seeking to give a special gift. That’s my theory, anyway.

Yes the name is a mistake - the 'Favolosa' element refers to the fabulous animals.
Saw a couple of the double face new season Della Cavalleria yesterday in my local store and it is lovely.

Remarkably the Manchester store in the UK has had a delivery of new season scarves - virtually unheard of this early in the season.
Oh why oh why did you have to say that?! I have ordered Funny Ice Cream twilly online and was trying to avoid going to try on 90s until next month...

Strike while the iron is hot! It looks as if quite a few scarves flew out of the store on New Year's Day. The SAs were happier about the designs than they had been for some seasons and even in the scarves that are really not for me I can recognise the artistic merit.

Just to 'help' you further they had :-

Hermès Flagship (Dimitri Rybaltchenko)
Mystère au 24 (Jonathan Burton)
Harnais de Coeur (Daiske Nomura)
Beauté Composée (Nick Doyle)
Silla de Gaucho (Antonio Carrau)
Le cavalier à la trompette (Jan Bajtlik)

Forever Collection
Jungle love (Robert Dallet)

Double Face
Splash park (Jacqueline Colley)
Della Cavalleria Favolosa ( (Virginie Jamin)

but not in many colourways so you might like to wait until February when hopefully more stock will arrive. No 70cm Ice Creams yet!
I love the way 'Le cavalier a la trompete' ties but all the colourways do nothing for me. Sigh.

Has anyone tried the animapolis in CW red, beige doré, blanc ? The color on the site looks more like light red, coral and pink than really red !
@SilkCouture modelled the cw here:

No 140 giant silks in store? I remember last year they only got Eleftheria 140 silk in August after most of summer and my holiday had passed and so I still haven’t had the opportunity to wear it. Hopefully this season they come in store sooner.

Hi all. Replying to my own post to let you know the answer I just got from customer service about Della Cavaleria (if only they always responded so fast ;)).
And Thanks @Les Tambours for your answer as well - indeed the Favolosa is the faboulous creatures - the main attraction for me about that design :-) - but at least now it might be corrected on the H web…

Dear CWW, the thing is that the embroidery/beading embroidery is a traditional handicraft for many European cultures, and still widely practiced in Eastern Europe, as well as in Asia (China, Vietnam, India, you name it). What H is doing is they are putting their name on the embroidered piece of fabric made somewhere in third world most likely and selling it for an arm and a leg. The irony is that the embroidery itself isn't what is special here, but rather the Hermes Paris logo is - and which ultimately determines the price of the garment:smile: I suppose the beading on those is done in India (as some of their exceptional pieces).

If you like some of those, search eBay for Indian embroidered scarves, shawls.. or PM me - I can send you a few pics and names to look after. I used to collect scarves during my travels, and some of them are of superb quality and art execution (sans Hermes logo and price tag though:smile: lol

Both Animapolis cws are now sold out on the EU/UK sites. There were very few in stock to begin with. I wonder if they will restock soon or it will be one of these annoyingly elusive designs.

So annoying! How difficult can it be to put enough stock out?

It also really annoys me that EU/UK has to wait until AFTER the price increase to be able to order the new pieces… we basically pay more than the rest of the world at every new season…

Anyway, the new scarves better be stunning 😁 I cannot wait to see Jungle Love and the pink Animapolis on you!
