DECOUPAGE = fewer details, less organic, fewer colors, cheaper to manufacture. In the day, we would have used the term DUMBED DOWN

while I look at the pictures like this...

can it be that H has a regular rhythm in which they adapt the colors to the color types of the people?

These are clearly colors that look great on the spring type. Before that we had a lot of designs that were perfect for winter types (like me). Before that, many colors that were good for autumn types....

I'm on to something.

I love this so far. I’ll have to see it draped and on people’s complexions. Very unique mix of colors for objects that could be outstanding. I love how the objects are highlighted off of the the backround muted objects. Nice layering within

This is really something to think about! Thx for stating.

I have noticed a pattern in my own collecting. I always buy more (or love more and restrain haha) in Autumn/Winter seasons than Spring/summer. And this coming from a light summer which makes it even more bizarre to me haha.

I think decoupage is just a fancy word for “cheaper”, it looks so much flatter than its original version. Disappointing, once again
