As I continue to be pretty underwhelmed by the FW24 season, I’ve returned yet again to try on more SS.

Precious Paradise. I’d previously found the apricot too vivid for me ( 😭 ), but perhaps the green one? The boutique lighting is sooo bad, my apologies.

And then I tried Mystère again, bc I just really want this to work lol. In this case my outfit was perfect with it haha. Thoughts? I was previously thinking this cw’s browns weren’t right for me.

This is the colorway of Mystere that I got. These colors are classic, and go great with your outfit, as you say. It is not going to go out of style.

@Jereni i agree with Red. Mystere is classic colors and beautiful and will always be able to wear it. I am 99% going to buy the same. tried on in boutique and loved it.
I think PP in those peachy pink flowers is gorgeous. I think this is just a gorgeous design. I was blown away by it last week with my First time seeing it in person. I have two cw’s to decide between. I think these both look great on you.

imo both suit your colouring @Jereni. And both designs are lovely, but you should decide if they are lovely enough for you…

I find the green and pink Precious Paradise very flattering on you colourwise. But the dusty flowers make the design very soft on you. Maybe a different knot would be better?

The colours on the Mystere are a bit stronger. I personally find them stunning on you, for as far as I can tell. Very pretty with the green dress.

I have been eying both these designs as well, but I cannot seem to pull the trigger. I will give them another try when I am back from my travels.

I am struggling to decide a color way though. Between the blue jean one and the jaune soufre.
If anyone remembers I went about eliminating yellow scarves from my collection last year. Any scarf with a glaring yellow in it, especially the hem. I didn’t like yellow on me with blonde hair. But I feel like this yellow is so soft that I can handle it. The whole scarf coloration just blends so well with the yellow.
Any help is appreciated on a clear winner. I probably have more in my closet to go with the bleu jean, but I don’t mind buying some tops for the Jaune.

They both look great on you but putting aside all other considerations, my instinctive reaction is that the Jaune souffre flatters you best due to the blues & pinks closest to your face (judging on the first set of pics). But, blue jean can do no wrong and might be more versatile from the clothes point of view.

I really like to soft yellow on you. The shades of blue, pink, raspberry and darker slate grey are all muted summer colours which really enhance your beautiful skin and hair colour. I also can see turquoise and a few different shades of mauve. The softer yellow has my vote. (The blue jean is also a beauty), a very hard decision. I'm still trying to make a decision too. Good luck deciding.

I adore a yellow scarf and like you mentioned that perfect hue is hard to find. Paradise's soft yellow really is amazing on you and can see so many blouse/top color possibilities!

The soft yellow is really beautiful on you. I find my eyes drawn to that cw over the Bleu Jean. However, it’s probably not a scarf that you’ll use much in the autumn and winter time. Will you get enough use of it? Does it work with a lot of your spring/ summer wardrobe?

Well, looks like this will be an unpopular opinion but the bleu jean is infinitely a better look for you but still not great. Sorry to have to repeat an observation from an earlier comment of mine but that yellow just looks plain matronly.

It is an almost impossible choice @Nomad, but I think I love the yellow even more on you. It looks fresh and summery and youthful, and I like that it has less of the pale whitish background colour compared to the blue. But the blue is beautiful too…

It is an almost impossible choice @Nomad, but I think I love the yellow even more in you. It looks fresh and summery and youthful, and I like that it has less of the pale whitish background colour compared to the blue. But the blue is beautiful too

That is the dilemma. Agree as I am leaning towards the yellow too, but know the closet cooperates more with the blue Jean. However honestly the yellow is so perfect on a white or any light top, of which I have far too many of.

I really like to soft yellow on you. The shades of blue, pink, raspberry and darker slate grey are all muted summer colours which really enhance your beautiful skin and hair colour. I also can see turquoise and a few different shades of mauve. The softer yellow has my vote. (The blue jean is also a beauty), a very hard decision. I'm still trying to make a decision too. Thank you!! Honestly that one yellow that works on me might be this one. Call me crazy but can you recall H putting these colors together before? I’m wracking my brain to think. Other than maybe the yelllow pastel carnaval Venice which I haven’t seen in person?? Maybe a ciels byzantines? But granted I don’t normally ever look at yellow scarves. I feel like usually it’s amped up yellow like in an Animapolis or the like.

I don’t wear any scarves really in summer and end of spring. So I am def already at a loss in that department . But I think, a big think, that this would be top 3 for summer spring wear when I do put one on I think.

Ahhh. So interesting on your matronly thoughts with this cw. To me this cw feels full of youthfulness and colors of the young. So on that standpoint I almost feel like it’s too fresh and light for me at 50 . Too funny how we all have our own takes on our silks.
