Don't hold me to this because it was a bit ago but I think this scarf has leather appliques and is considerably more expensive than a regular 90 twill (not quite in the 'exceptional' category but up there). I didn't see it IRL but on the store iPad, and my SA and I reviewed the details. On the iPad it's clearer that the scarf is pieced; not one piece of fabric but pieces sewn together. HTH :flowers:

I'm waiting for this one ! Carré 90 Application Coton Brides de Gala Tattoo.
It is a special one my SA suggested for my wishlist. I have viewed it on her iPad, it is applied with a cotton twill, is quite light, and manufactured in at least in two CWs, marine and green.

I stand corrected but really do remember something similar with leather pieces. Looking forward to learning more. :flowers:

hmmm, don't think so but can't be sure. My SA and I were flipping thru the iPad and noted the relatively simple BdG design and wondered about it, saw the price tag and really wondered, and then delved and saw that there were leather appliques involved. We didn't dwell on it. Definitely not a twilly, and the leather was more than just at the corners, it was pieced into the design thru out. I'm sure it will be more amazing IRL than on the little iPad pic. HTH :flowers:

As per my Feb. 23rd post: Bought this in London yesterday (in Rouge, Orange, Tabac). Design by Gianpaolo Pagni. It’s essentially double sided but with one side having an added set of black graphic designs and patent leather-like sheen on some of the red border squares. Orange contrast hems. Can be worn with red, orange, camel, brown, beige, grey, black. Really stunning and innovative design!

I preferred the red, orange and brown color way but both are stunning. Depends on your color preference and what you have in your collection already.

“A pre-cut gloss film is hot pressed on the Carré (at 145 degrees) and then hand cut. This gives a varnish effect to the Carré, highlighting it’s “make-up” effect.” Hence the higher price point.
This Carré 90 Twilly Au Bloc Liste Vernie comes in only two colourways (Bleu/Rose/Vert and Rouge/Orange/Tabac).
