Dear @Redbirdhermes , Echoing @momasaurus , it feels like navigating a maze with the colorways presented for this design. I like the design, but truly none of the palettes work perfectly. None of the options feels like the “Cinderella shoe of colorways”; there’s always a little issue. Like @EtsyBoss , I already bought the green, yet part of me wonders if the red CW might have been a missed opportunity for more harmony or perhaps the better colorway. It’s a bit of a conundrum, isn’t it? None of the options feel just right—each has its own little pebble of discord. So, @Redbirdhermes , I’m sitting on the sidelines here, not fully sold on any of the choices for you. If you’re enamored with them, though, I’d lean towards the orange over the pink.

I share your pain with this scarf. I cannot find a CW that works. (The original artist CW is the best, but H knows better, LOL, and didn't offer that.) For me the bubblegum and yellow together is just a NO. So juvenile. The light on the water is lovely in the orange/teal CW, as you noted. I rather liked the red/blue, and if you can deal with the white hem, I vote for that. The pale blue is already available at Fashionphile, LOL.
Anyway, I am going to pass on this design in silent protest that H messed up.

Designs available at a discount shortly after release are a sign that something is amiss (although maybe it’s flying off the shelves in another part of the world). Chefs hate when full plates come back to the kitchen…..but if you’re paying attention you can learn from it.

Hello Ladies, some mod-shots of "Hermès Flagship" in colourway 14 "orange/ crème/ vert argile" . IMO it is a very versatile colour combination, not "old lady like" at all, and it even emphasizes the beautiful design. But as some of you ladies have said before: A scarf's colour has to match primarily your complexion.

I'm having trouble choosing my Hermes Flagship.

I think they both suit your complexion, but I’m (surprisingly) drawn to the peachy/orange for you (I hates orange!). I think the peach & teal are nice complements, in a less jarring intensity. I’m not generally a fan of pink & blue together, and this is no exception - a bit loud IMO.

But let’s see what the red one looks like!

Thank you both for your thoughts, @SilkCouture and @momasaurus . Both the light blue and green colorways of Hermès Flagship are available currently on TRR, with the light blue at a discount. Perhaps the answer is to wait and pick up this design at a discount later.

The other thing I noticed, RedBird, is that "Les Artisans" in the red/orange CW (your avatar!) gave me the same color vibe as the red/blue FlagShip. We get disciplined here if we talk too much about OTHER SEASONS, but see if you think so too.

Sometimes the scarf doesn't work after all, but mostly it's "building a profile." Buying stuff to get "offered" a QB.

This is gorgeous! And it looks gorgeous on you @GloWW0rM! One of the colorways to wear with vibrant blue (my fave!)

It was on the US website briefly this morning. I was struggling with whether to jump on it but I already have 4 Precious Paradise. I was able to add 12 to the cart and figured I was safe to think about it for a few hours... but I went back and in less than an hour they are all gone. C'est la vie d'Hermès!

And they're back.

What I meant was that I wanted the #5 you just showed, and it was on the website in the US but I was hesitant to pull the trigger because I already have this scarf in 4 different colorways, including the yellow. I showed mod shots of the yellow on p. 80 #1,194 with an update using better styling for it on p. 81 #1,208. For the #5 today I put it in the cart and was curious how many there were available so I'd get a sense of whether I could take a while to decide and saw there were 12 of the #5 available but when I came back an hour later, it said #5 was no longer available. But... it came back in stock. Momentary glitch I guess. The FOMO got me, and I have #5 on the way now (at least I think so!). I was able to check out.

You’re right, I did see your post of the yellow and I’d completely forgotten as it looks so different in bias. Haha 5th cw on its way, I love that and am slightly jealous that enough cws work on you that you can do that! Sorry for misunderstanding what you meant - that makes more sense now.

It's been a complete mess of a Monday for me. I am sure I added to the confusion. Sorry about that! As for the 5 colorways, I don't know what to say for myself. Hopelessly in love..... I think I would probably find all of them would work except the grayish maroon one. That was a hard no. Everything else, I have been very much resistance is futile over here.
