Hello scarfie lovers. Had to share this goodie - Brides de Gala Appliqué Piqué cashmere shawl cw 6 in beige, neutral and Jaune. This has hints of glycine and mauve throughout. TDF!!

Hopping on to say thank you to everyone for their hard work scoping out designs and colors and posting such helpful photos. Also I am excited to see mod shots as people start to make their new season purchases. Here are some mod shots of my first one for SS2023 and the one I knew I wanted from the very beginning (kind of like the beige Lanternes and the aubergine En Liberte last season!). I was happy to be able to pick this up yesterday in Grewnwich. The only colorway they had. Costume de Fete 06-- twins with @cbradley (on both this and Tea for Two).

I went over to Madison yesterday and I had suspected that they might have some new designs. I was pleasantly surprised - two of the scarves I wanted to see were available. This is going to be another dangerous season for me! :panic:

Rendezvous au Galant. For whatever reason this particular scarf feels extra-silky to me:

Tea for Two in the blue and grey CW. I love it! Especially the angry cat and the cute bunny.

Silly me! I took photos of the tags but forgot to post them. Here they both are:

GSDs are the best! So sweet and loving. Love my fuzzy goofball. Here he is, hogging my side of the bed:

Hi all. I have a question- has anyone seen colorway 2 of costume de fete? It is some bluish greenish colorway? There doesn’t seem to be any pictures anywhere but the SA said he saw the number in the system with no pic.
I got to try on several costumes de fetes. I didn’t have a lightening bolt like I expected. But I am definitely getting one!
what do you all think? I think I am choosing between a ‘pretty” colorway of 05 w cream center and navy blue border and an h magic color combo of 03 fuschia W golds. It may not be worn as much but the colors are striking. Not sure goes with my complexion? I tried on @LKBNOLA ’s gris/mauve periwinkle one which is so very pretty but dull on me. And the bright blue one which feels too bright on me. As SA said, it is ‘the show’ on me. It also has too much highlighter orange and yellow for me. Tho I really wanted to love that one ‘on me’. If I framed I would definitely get the bright blue one.
sorry awful photos. They are so crisp in store and I don’t want to mangle them in the store.

2 scarves arrived on Saturday but no modeling shots as I also got diagnosed with the flu last Friday even though I had my vaccine in October and have been super careful. I forgot how miserable the flu can be and luckily got to urgent care right away and on Tamiflu and I am just feeling a tad better today. Everyone please be careful - there is so much sickness out there.

These are photos of Costumes in cw1 from my SA and online photos of double face Le Jardins des Peintres cw5. They are both absolutely stunning IRL. I wear a lot of black and neutrals so these will work so well for me. The Batik is such a beautiful homage to his heritage and the detail is amazing and I covet some additional cw's down season perhaps.

This is also my first double face scarf. I love the pattern and the juxtaposition of the cws on each side. The bright side immediately reminded me of a Warhol and the soft palette of the tropics where I wish I was right now sitting under a swaying palm tree instead of in the cold bitter winter.

I will post mod shots when I am feeling better. Happy holiday and all the best in 2023 to everyone.

Just picked up Le Carnaval Des Animaux at my local boutique today. Am in love ❤️

View attachment 5678721

Today I went to the boutique with Father Christmas and fell in love at first sight (not with FC- already done) : Jardin des Peintres vanille/vert amande/corail 03.The yellow side is very bright and is not my favorite color, but the other side (cream background) is so soft and subdued, the drawings are so delicate and beautiful that I went out of the shop with it around my neck and an empty box :lol:The hem is orange; it brightens up the softer side beautifully.
Now, waiting for the flowers of Retour à la Nature!

Amazing choices, all! Each one is simply breathtaking… Thank you so much for sharing with us, and Congrats!

@Marie-the-Mary - Normally, I am not a fan of yellow, as most shades do not complement my skin tone, but on this cw, the yellow is sufficiently bright, and when paired with those luscious greens of the foliage, it is truly stunning. I think in this case the yellow side is every bit as nice as its more subtle, creamy side. Excellent choice.
Completely agree! I'm particularly fond of how it looks against the light gray.

Two hours on the site later and I have quite the list! 2 shawls and 8 scarves. The black and red Tea for Two was unexpected and I love it! Fingers crossed my list can be had!
You know, I'm not a tea drinker, so I was ignoring Tea for Two thinking that it was about drinking tea. Then I took a closer look, and it is a Rube Goldberg machine. (According to Wiki, in the UK it's called a Heath Robinson contraption.) I love those things. I knew that my original short scarf list for this spring would grow.

Congratulation, it is lovely! Perfect with the soft grey sweater.

I think Father Christmas must be a VVIP, as he has been so generous with our TPF scarfies ;)
Thank you, @Lellabelle! appreciation from an expert who wears not only gorgeous scarves, but also legendary perfumes like Caron's Nuit de Noël, is priceless :flowers: . And I wish all women in the world had so generous Fathers Christmases.

I wasn't drawn to it at all until I saw the red and black one and took a closer look. I've decided it's the Wallace and Gromit scarf I need to have in my life.

I was not into that scarf either at first. But the cute little bunny changes my opinion. Next year is the year of Rabbit. Even though the AW 22 collection also has scarf with bunny, it looks a bit weird to me.

Thank you, @BagsRGreat! Your words are so insightful!

I love this! I think this will be my first giant triangle!!

So exiting to see the new collection popping up. Unfortunately, the ones I am eying (Retour à la nature in pink cw and Bal de Soie) are not yet available on the French or Belgian website… waiting impatiently…

Here's a quick mod shot of the Cheval Vague giant triangle, CW 05 Blue/Jaune/Rouge . Firmly in the "oops I did a thing" category and a (somewhat) unexpected purchase. There were others that were on the list first, and this scarf was 3rd down on my wish list, but the one I came home with today first. I think even if the others had been available to look at, this still would have come home first. It's very striking.
