Oh wow this is amazing! I would love to try a pleated style but how do you wash them?
Well - you aren't supposed to wash those. They could be dry cleaned by a specialist cleaner who knows how to handle them - that is to maintain the plisse. If you decide to wash, you will get a flat scarf but with permanent ribbing. Sometimes the flat scarf is more desired for some designs so I had seen some very nicely flattened scarves, which started their journey as plisses...:)

Thank you Ashanti_Rose. It is not for me then... I prefer to wash my scarves myself... I saw the cashmere pleated Mon Gallop in the store today. A true thing of beauty....

That’s also why I never got one of the plissé. I prefer hand washing them. The dry cleaners don’t even remove the stains…
However I am curious about the plisse. I have some clothes (from another brand) with pleats that I machine wash as instructed and they don’t loose the plissé…
I wonder why then…

It depends on the dry cleaner and how the scarf is being handled. I personally don't like the feel of H silk after washing and don't like the lost crispiness and soft feel of the fabric.

There are only a few cleaners that know how to deal with plisses and can dry clean those - and it costs about 50 usd right now. I wouldn't invest any significant $ in a plisse - it is allright to spend $100 bucks on one - it is fun to play with it and it does look young and fresh:) but to spend $1000+ is a waste IMHO. But the scarf does look wonderful!

I ordered Tulipomania 01 and am so unsure. The vermillion 17 is so alluring as an idea and image but I am not sure it would go with my complexion; the pink 03 is too sweet for me with its purple tulips. I guess I will just have to wait and see. H doesn’t make it easy with online ordering, scarcity, off photography and fomo. It seems that my SA doesn’t really want to do charge sends any longer - those used to be sweet and easy.

Yes I agree, ordered and sent back two scarves lately. The photo colours on the website were so "off"!

Dear Scarf friends, forgive me if this is farther back in thread, but I am looking for mod shots/real life shots of Retour a la Nature in cw 03. I have tried cw 01, @Critzie and @Sammy Royal's beautiful choice (Congratulations, ladies, it looks amazing on you both!) and I have tried cw 04, the very lovely basically all blue cw. I feel cw 01 is too duplicative in terms of colors/wardrobe of my Acte CSGM in cw13 and, while the blue is heavenly, I do not need another blue/orange hem right now. I am thinking that cw 03 and cw 05 will be what might do it for me. Pleanty of gorgeous photos on cw 05 from @lanit and @EtsyBoss but would love detailed pics of 03, too. So frustrating to see all the colors (basically) just to the north on the Canada website!

Thanks in advance. I will post comparisons of 01 and 04 too in case it might be helpful but right now I am nursing a lousy virus...
And congratulations to all on their new-ins!

I am also narrowing down my choice and never have I relied more on pictures on this thread so please know how helpful all your posts are. Get well real soon, dear @LKBNOLA. For me it is between 05, 01 possibly 11 or 09.

Is 05 vert/jaune /rose mixed up on the Canadian site? It shows a shawl with green hem on the picture where it’s worn. Hmmm.

The vermilion 17 is really pretty but the red leans very warm and orange. I suppose you would need a bit of warmth in your complexion to be able to pull it of?

I took a mod shot before I returned it. I really liked it but finally preferred the yellow one. I add the picture in case it helps.
Would love to see what you will choose in the end.2BD0E08B-1C00-4243-83D0-62524CE1EA22.jpeg
